Honestly, I hate the service economy and I have spent a good few years doing that. I had days when I held my tongue in cheek and made smart remarks instead of telling everybody to f~~~ off like I wanted to.

The only thing I can say is try and get involved in a more productive industry. Service jobs and DYD don’t mix.

I enjoyed the hell out of Agriculture when I did that. Little pay and long hours of hard work though, but I’d take that anyday over service sector.

Think of a band like Pantera. Formed mid to late 80’s and were part of the trailblazing era. No f~~~ing internet no cellphones. They were very talented and rightly so got the spotlight. They went on to make f~~~ing great albums as alot of other bands did in that time like Nirvana etc. They were fortunate to live in a great decade where anything was possible. It was a fertile time.

Yeah, there was an actual music scene back then. Not just in Metal, but all over. Pioneers in many different genres back then. The music scene supported the pioneers and they could scrape a living off it. I feel like a fish out of water. Playing in a band was my big aspiration growing up and the scene that birthed it all didn’t survive the 90’s.

I feel your pain man. I started metal band when I was 19 and it was taking off, then the guitarist quit. So we got a new one. Things looked good. Then he fell out with the drummer. He left. Then the drummer who was my best friend joined my friends band without telling me. So on and so forth. Lazy f~~~ing useless c~~~ sucking musicians. I couldnt find a band who were looking for metal vocalist so i drummed in a few bands which of course went to s~~~ and i was so fed up with it I sold my drums.

I went on to front a New Zeaaland metal band and the guitarist lived at my house with my sons mother, ate all my food, never helped with the rent, then met a f~~~ing slut who convinced him that licking her pussy out on every band jamming night was more important. Dude went against me when i told him to ditch the f~~~ing whore and i ended up throwing the mic at his head at our last band jam. I just walked off.

I came to the UK in 2011to try out for a really good metal/roack band. Bassist liked me but one of the guitarists was a total f~~~~~. I was f~~~ed about and then apparently i was too out there for this pussy. Again, my time wasted.

I realised then i could never rely on anyone again. I gave up music for years seething in hatred and despair internally for years, f~~~ing ITCHING to make the band thing a reality but no one to be in a band with. So I took up guitar and realised the only way it was gunna happen was to be the sole song writer and write my own material.

Bought a 7 string 2 years back and began learning guitar. Then sold it to get back to the UK. I could have everything raring to go man to find a drummer who isnt a f~~~ing time waster or a let down is impossible it seems. I was jamming with one drummer in New Zealand when i played guitar, and he told me he couldn’t jam anymore because he got a gf. I said to him wtf?????

The lying c~~~ joined a band and didn’t tell me. The dumb f~~~ then plays a gig with this band at the club he knows i bounce at, and is s~~~ting himself inbetween sets and after their set as im walking around, hoping not to speak to me. What ensued was a f~~~ing awkward conversation and me calling him a f~~~ing loser.

This is the s~~~ I have to contend with today. Part time people.
