I’m not sure you understand the situation you’re in.
By default, you’re f~~~ed up. Unless you fight for it,
the judge will consider that you, the evil male, left a poor fragile women in a situation so precarious that she had to ask assistance from an ex convict.

Maybe she doesn’t really know anything about the process and just didn’t care,
but be careful. WHat about custody ? Do you really care ?

I sense that you kind of wait for things to happen, which i totally get,
but be prepared when it does.

EVIDENCE

Write a journal of everything she does, what happened so far and how it affects you.
Try to find evidence, witnesses or anything that can back up your claim.
Train or bus tickets, glue today’s newspaper to show you didn’t just make up the whole things at the last minute.
Write your thoughts and how you’re scared of the ex convict and how her family acts.
Don’t mention the mother coming on to you though.
Careful with phone calls, that might backfire, it’s illegal.

I’m honestly having a pretty hard time, but I’m going to get through this. It’s like I’m trying to kick crack or something. I guess she didn’t lose her job luckily. It’s going to sound like I’m being a white knight especially with my first couple sentences, but just follow me — I was thinking about helping her find a higher paying job. She’s blowing through her money & it’s likely that she’ll start considering child support. If she gets a higher paying job, that reduces my chances of having to pay out. Problem is, she’s lazy & indecisive (surprise). I helped her get her last 2 jobs, which makes me feel like I’m just enabling her laziness, but it might be a smart move strategically/financially. I even insisted she have a recommendation written from her previous employer, which would make things much easier. Just a thought. She’s already mentioned wanting to get food stamps, but the state forces women to go after child support first — which she’s currently refusing to do. Probably not for long. She’s hopefully going to be moving in with her mom soon.

This is my very first time posting on this site.  I’m very glad that this website exists!

Anyway, to BeardedOne.  You say that she’s regretting her mistakes, but that’s not true.  There WAS NO MISTAKE!  She did not cheat on you by mistake.  She knew exactly what she was doing, and she planned the whole thing out.  The only thing she regrets is the fact that she got caught.

She’s going to keep trying to get with you for years.  Believe me.  Even if she does “settle down” with another guy, she’ll be trying to break the doors down to get back with you.

It’s good that you kicked her out though.  Let me tell you something.  Once she found out that you were serious about ending your relationship with her, this is what she was thinking: “I need to hurry up and get pregnant by him again.  If I’m pregnant with another one of his children, then he won’t be able to leave me.”  She was probably offering herself up to you on a daily basis.

Here’s another thing.  If you do end up paying child support, you need to understand that the amount you pay is not based on her income or lack thereof.  It’s solely based on YOUR income.  In other words, don’t waste your time trying to help her find a better job.  The only way that stupid girl will learn is if she suffers.

Take it from a brother in arms. Same situation I’m in. And if she doesn’t have a leg to stand on trust me its not that easy to kick her it. I mean you can tell her to get the f~~~ out but if she says no the only other thing you can do is get the police involved. Meaning start up a police report. But it won’t do much good since you guys are married, they’ll be more on her side unless she’s abusing you. Take it from me man, try and cut your losses. Peace of mind is worth the money to be rid of the bitch. I’m still not rid of mine…….yet.
