I’m not a fan of censorship in any form.

However, you are the captain of this vessel.

I think cursing is a fine art when you are giving your two cents about a topic. You can water things down or create the right emphasis depending when you choose to use expletives. This applies more to text because emotional conveyance can be easily misinterpreted. You may not be angry or emotional when you writing a post but if you are cussing throughout it the readers may get the wrong impression.

This video says it all. One of the great movie scenes from a cult classic that spoofed horror movies way before the Wayans brothers.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

The whole not safe for work is a manifestation of the feminization of culture and an attempt to control male behaviour. Anything that is a manifestation of blue-collar or working class culture such as colourful language, is also a manifestation of masculinity and in a feminized culture is therefore contemptible. You wont find any positive portrayals of working class male role models in present culture, not because they dont exist, but because they have been made invisible. Like the fact that workplace injuries and deaths are overwhelmingly male, and in largely in blue collar jobs, is a massive gender bias that is ignored.

It is a huge exercise in control, and MGHOW’s, by definition, say f~~~ it.

Of that you can be certain….
Any form of “censorship” will be totally out of the question. (conduct aside)

I thought it, but Ninja said it, and I’m glad he did.
Don’t be visiting Manosphere sites at work.

I enjoyed a brief email exchange with Stanley ( dude at top who inspired this) and the guy is a stand-up man with a rocking sense of humor. His concern was purely about getting an auto-email from his work admin when their software detects questionable browsing. We solved his concern within minutes and he re-registered with an unrelated private email. So that takes care of that. And if anyone has that kind of an issue, we will crawl through s~~~, stop eating lunch, and drop what we are doing and help our members out to protect their privacy.

One guy posted his phone number to another local fellow, and we HAD to remove that. Cap posted a photo of a “Ban hammer” which didn’t display properly, so I quickly fixed it to not look “broken”….. and some guys didn’t format their paragraphs for the audience, so I took a moment to adjust those too – making it more readable.

But that’s the limit. That’s not censorship. That’s just taking the creases out of the tablecloth, adjusting the place settings and providing white-glove service.

But there are times when we published VERY colorful thoughts and we thought “is this letting our fellow MGTOW DOWN??” Sincerity is the order of the day and so is humor when possible. The site was intentionally designed to make any delicate sensibilities run screaming for the hills… and for Manospherians to want to kick their shoes off and stay a while.

We know we succeeded when the VERY first comment on our site was “Is this SERIOUS? It all seems a bit over done”.

Awesome. Exactly what we were going for. Taking it just enough over-the-top for a newbie to question whether or not it’s satire. Then they are forced to make up their OWN minds. The fundamental approach to MGTOW. Explore and enjoy.

That feminist was gone within minutes when we directed her to the MGTOW women’s shelter:
    http://mgtow.com/womens-shelter

Straight up, we were originally concerned the forum could turn into a toilet, but everyone has been EXTREMELY respectful and polite and – I don’t mind saying – intelligent. I have read some really poetic & valuable s~~~ here from all of you, but it was terrific to see the guys band together to expel that c~~~ who showed up last weekend. That was a tremendous display of brotherhood, and it’s why we are here.

Thank you for not p~~~ing on the seat. The need for moderation has been virtually non-existent.
But in this f~~~ing place, the seat will remain UP.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

It you’re just trying to avoid a corporate filter, enable https.  If you’re afraid of them showing up on the screen and someone accidentally shoulder surfing them, it’s possible to configure a proxy, a browser plug-in or, I believe, some java script to replace key words with something more palatable.  But I wouldn’t censor the site.  Bowdlerizing the site takes away from the free exchange of ideas.  If you encourage members to self-censor, then self-censorship becomes the norm.

@thejack this site doesn’t support https.

SSL costs about $80/yr, takes like 0 skill to setup…

does absolutely dick all against “work place filters” if the person handling the filters knows what they are doing… which is… never.
*still doesn’t get why people put so much faith in ssl when it actually does dick all in terms of security, as the encryption KEYS ARE PUBLIC*

Oh, i guess on that note, i did notice that cloudflare now has ssl for their free accounts now ( or at least with mine )

So… if you were to put mgtow on cloudflare, you should also be able to get ssl for free. would look much more professional to have an actual ssl cert tho.

I say let it stay salty Keymaster. I think of this place as a virtual lockeroom. A place where men can be men without having to worry about all the outside worlds bulls~~~.

Thanks Iggy. But I say we don’t confine being men to just “the locker room” and start saying whatever the f~~~ we want – OUTSIDE the locker room and in the real world. We will “be men” EVERYWHERE.

We will not lock ourselves in.
If anyone doesn’t like it, they can get the f~~~ OUT.

Not only that, we will take it out there and dial it up a few notches.
This is an attitude I’m finding serves me very well in the real world.

I recommend ALL men start doing this (not just a little, but) MUCH more often.

    ••••••

I took a walk a while ago and I saw a young woman walking and talking with her best gay friend.
Exactly as they were approaching I overheard her tell him: “he told her she was fat. You can’t say that to a woman.”

So exactly as we passed, I said TO HIM “Yeah you can. You can say whatever the f~~~ you want to a woman. Don’t listen to her.” and I kept walking. The timing was just too perfect.

He laughed. She didn’t. She was P~~~ED.

She started cursing and yelling every motherf~~~ing c~~~sucking epithet you can possibly imagine, frothing her giblets with such fervor to try and get me to turn around and acknowledge her. I was about 30 paces away. I paused with my back still to them. They both knew I was going to say something. Thinking I would bark back at her, when I turned around I said to THE GUY “you can also totally ignore her too. Like this….” and kept on.

Goddamn it was so beautiful. HE ACTUALLY APPLAUDED. She then went off like a f~~~ing PSYCHO.
And she watched me ride off into the sunset throwing my head back laughing.

    That’s what Im talking about.
Saying whatever the f~~~ you want is not just for the locker room.

    Women bring this upon themselves.
It wouldn’t necessary if they just SHUT. THE. F~~~. UP. and stop lecturing men on “what we can’t say”.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I’m for a no holds barred environment. No topic should be off limits to discuss and no words should be censored or turned into fruity little stars, horseshoes and clovers, although I would side with a community that came out against speech that actively promoted anti-social and damaging behaviors that would result in doing physical or psychological harm to non-combatants (a word I prefer to “innocents” because f~~~ me if I can find one of those!) or just being plain angry and nasty for no good reason. I’m sure there’s a fair amount of frustration among men finding this site but, so far, you all seem to be a rather eloquent bunch so I doubt there’s any real danger of that.

Having said that, I’ve got to also say that I’m sick of the concept of a “safe space”. I don’t know about you guys but I don’t want to be in a safe space. This space should be for men only, I agree, and openly hostile to any women who masquerades as a man in order to subvert our conversations, but it should most assuredly not be “safe” in that any man who states his opinion here should be fully prepared to have it deconstructed, criticized and disagreed with by anyone at any time… and then have every right to come back and tell them to get f~~~ed because that’s his own way.

And though this may be a bit off topic, I don’t expect it to be safe from angry women or from their proxies either. At some point, we may all have to answer to someone with the power to harm us for our comments or our colorful language (MGTOW declared a terrorist organization and four letter words and critical discussions of women labeled as hate speech, anyone?) and I believe we should all be prepared to do so.

Glad to see nobody is bowing to their internal censors… that would definitely not be MGTOW.

Like it or not profanity is an integral part of the fabric that is the English language. It has been for hundreds of years. I believe that men, being the more cerebral beings of the two sexes have always used language in a colourful and artistic fashion to convey the point they are trying to get across.

Side note, if you are using a work computer in the modern working environment for personal surfing you are doing it wrong and it wont be long before a female HR representative pulls you in for some “development training” – read we will treat you like a child and or make your life a misery until you quit or bend to our will. That’s not the way of a MGTOW. Use your phone.

Keep MGTOW.com not safe for work, as most workplaces are sadly not safe for MGTOW.

Just my two cents, rounded down to nothing these days.

Agreed. There is no such thing as a safe space, it’s an illusion. As a man you need to be ready to fight, anywhere, anytime.

What a joke this isn’t Yahoo Answers (which I dumped a long time ago) what distinguishes us from them is the fact that we don’t give a dam what you say, and FREEDOM is encouraged here. They can kiss my MGTOW ass I will never embrace that Feminist, and LGBT promoted “Politically Correct” trash if they don’t like something we say they can leave SIMPLE, but we will NEVER apologize for anything we say !!!

I can’t believe this topic was even introduced.  The day someone bans my favorite word of all time, C~~~, is the last day I attend this forum.

Now let’s get something straight, I like f~~~ing off at work as much as the next guy. I have a monitor dedicated to Youtube alone, that sits at a 45 degree angle that only I have a viewpoint for.  I even recently snuck off for half the day to go see Interstellar.  S~~~, why not?  If you can get away with it, go for it.  But why the f~~~ would any MGTOW want to conform and censor our written words just for the purpose of reading at work?  Get your f~~~ing tablet or phone out and read on there, because MGTOW viewpoints are definitely NOT safe reading material at any workplace.

I have regularly used the word C~~~ since age 11, and now my friends all use it because of me.  It’s the perfect word to describes nasty t~~~s, and manginas.

    +10 for SubGunner.

A friend of mine recommended never taking a dump at home. I asked him Why?
He said he likes to defecate at work, so he can tell other people he gets paid to take a sssshhhhit.

    Now that’s pretty f~~~ing brilliant.
    (Yeah, I know good people.)

This has nothing to do with the topic. I just felt like telling you all that. Have a great day.

We should be able to express ourselves any way we want to. I mean after all if the feminazis have that right than we the MGTOWs should also be able to do or say what ever we want.

I'm married to the game, but she broke her vows.

I learned this in IT, and stick with it. If you are unsure of something, make it an option. Why not have an optional frontend filter users can opt-into?
