Young people quitting social media

I don’t remember the thread, but I posted recently that the really bad age range was about 25-55. Women under that and women over that were much more pleasant to be around. Of course AWALT still applies, but the absolute worst in terms of subscribing to feminism and being obnoxious was that age range. Young women I’ve remarked are often pleasant to be around.

I’d mentioned young people also were not as likely to be on social media, at least the girls I was running into (many refused to use facebook). Some people questioned that.

Well, I thought it would be good to post this article that indicates young people ARE quitting social media, as I had thought:

I know a few people with kids who have developed anxiety problems from it. The behavior therapists tell them to leave Facebook ASAP. It’s not hard to see how easy that would happen. I get trolled mercilessly on the MGTOW-Facebook sites, but I expect it and I am mentally prepared for it. Kids are not.

Reminds me something I heard on talk radio the other day. The host was theorizing that from a conservative viewpoint, our best/last home was todays teenagers and 20-somethings. It made his point based off info like this, and based on history.

Looking back to the 60s, when we started transitioning out of a traditional/conservative society into the progressive/liberal mess we have now, it was the teenagers and 2-somethings that caused the change. It was not the grown adults who were set in their ways. If there is one thing are good at, it’s rebelling against the establishment.

It’s difficult to imagine that rebelling against the establishment could mean opting for conservative values over liberal, but why not? It’s the youth figuring out that they don’t want the world the adults have made for them and chose to go a different way.

Of course, it’s only a theory, and we have not seen enough of this rebellion to believe that’s the case. As well, we aren’t going back to the 50s, but definitely not something as ridiculous as we have now.

Younger women are more pleasant because being less experienced they are less manipulative.
You’re a very wise and smart man but you lack the experience of having been married: lacking such experience you don’t get how women were when, being young, we signed the marriage contract, and how much they changed after that.
My son have a new “girlfriend”: they’re both 12, and he’s very chatty about what they do together. It’s astonishing how non-manipulative, open and sincere she is, but that isn’t due she belong to a “better generation”, it’s just only due she’s almost a child and she have not even an hint about manipulation. Facebook does seem to go down, if anything kids always avoided social groups where parents were present. But that doesnt mean they are without alternatives, … social media in imo sadly omnipresent and will be increasing into even more controlled society without personal freedom.

Young people are not quiting social media they are leaving facebook in droves since their parents even have accounts now and do not want to be stalked by them but they are just using alternatives like Instagram and snapchat.

I have heard youngers say its stressful. They are constantly worried about what others are saying about them. I use it for work,family ,and recon of people Im going to be working with.
