Another brother dropped out of college, this week.
You can hate me if you want but I am sick and tired about hearing MEN dropping out. Let me be clear, AWALT and MGTOW is the way to go.
I understand that college is not for everyone and that there are a lot of other paths to success. Heck, a plumber will make more than most STEM degrees, mine included.
But God Damn it. The more men that drop out, the more the c~~~s win. Who will be our future leaders if the good men aren’t there? They are trying to drive men out of education and the economy. It just makes me so damn mad. I can’t be the only one who sees this. I know it sucks, but God in heaven, every man driven out is a loss to our future.
I just want some good MEN to win for once.

Well the guy that dropped out dropped out of photography I think, so I do not think that guy lost much.

@enjoy,
I understand that a degree in photo isn’t the best choice, but he dropped out of his dream.
With respect, kill your dream, how does that feel?

There’s another way to look at this.
The more men that drop out, the more the c~~~s win.
No they won’t. I worked for a college for 2 years – part time. It’s a bulls~~~ racket designed to exploit young people for profit and set them up for student loan slavery – and to start their lives in massive debt.
I actually “dropped out of college” by not wanting to work for them anymore. But I never went to college myself – and have never been unemployed a single day of my life.
Even after one year, I wanted out of that hive and I worked the second year remotely. I completely understand why a man would drop out. He’s got my blessing.
I just want some good MEN to win for once.
Good men DO win.
Steve Jobs dropped out of college.
The next iPad will not come from the mind of a woman.
Whoever it is that you’re speaking about….
I wish him every success.See the irony in this? I worked for a college – producing their website(s) – without a college degree.
And here’s the best part: The Chancellor of the college is a woman.
But wait! It gets even better…..I billed her hourly more than a college graduate would.
… especially a graduate from her own “college”.You won’t like this.
Don’t bet on it. I actually LOVED this.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.@enjoy,

But the dream is not a realistic dream.

Jan, don’t worry about it, we are just talking. I just think that he should have a job that would support his hobby dream job instead of putting everything in one basket with a lot of debt.

In spite of all the leg-ups, advantages, more loans, and more women in colleges….
That’s not a “win” for women. If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.No they won’t. I worked for a college for 2 years. It’s a bulls~~~ racket designed to export young people for profit and set them up for student loan slavery.
I agree. Don’t get me wrong…I’m doing well in life thanks to a college education, and know many others who are, but women generally don’t get degrees that pay well. They aren’t getting STEM degrees at higher rates then men, going into trades at higher rates, or starting businesses at higher rates…they’re taking out more loans and getting women’s studies degrees, early childhood education, and social work degrees. A lot of the women I know with college degrees end up worse off financially than they would have if they never went to college and just worked their way into an assistant manager gig or something at a local retail store considering a lot of them never do anything with their degrees or end up making less than 15 bucks an hour even with their degree.
Well the guy that dropped out dropped out of photography I think, so I do not think that guy lost much.
Sadly, I’d agree with this as well. My first degree was a non stem degree that I got because I found the field interesting. In the end it ended up being nothing but a giant waste of time and money and had zero return on investment. At some point I Just realized its about a balance…I’d be happier in a good paying job even if I’m not very passionate about it and enough money to do whatever I want outside of work than I would be with a low paying job I’m passionate about and a mountain of debt hanging over my head.
With respect, kill your dream, how does that feel?
It felt pretty good actually. Society feeds you a line of s~~~ about pursuing your dream career when you grow up, like your career defines who you are. It doesn’t. As soon as I came to this understanding I got a more meaningful education and worked my way into a much higher paying job than where I was at.
A job is just a tool to provide resources to pursue your true dreams and passions. I wouldn’t tell the person you are referencing photography is stupid and useless throw your cameras away and stop wasting your time, I’d simply suggest to him you might be happier in life pursuing a degree in nursing or engineering or going into a trade where you have good odds of finding employment and your starting salary will probably be north of 60k a year and pursuing photography as a side gig or a hobby.
Jan, don’t worry about it, we are just talking. I just think that he should have a job that would support his hobby dream job instead of putting everything in one basket with a lot of debt.
Bingo! I made this mistake early on in life and I’m kicking myself for it now. If I didn’t and got to where I’m at now 6-8 years earlier, I’d probably have about an extra 300-500k in savings, and making 5-15 dollars an hour more for having more experience in the field or possible promotions I may have gotten during that time.
I just wish I understood at 18 I’ll probably never have a job I love and even if I do find one it will eventually get boring and repetitive after you spend enough time there, so just find something I don’t hate that pays well so I have enough money to have fun outside of work and to save generously for retirement so I can hopefully be done clocking 40+ hours a week much younger than social security age.
But God Damn it. The more men that drop out, the more the c~~~s win. Who will be our future leaders if the good men aren’t there? They are trying to drive men out of education and the economy.
Jan, its all f~~~ed. It’s all goddamn f~~~ed. Turn the tables on the c~~~s, don’t help women in work, don’t give a f~~~ about a piece of paper.
Checking out is not a bad thing, being a victim of this society is.
Good men DO win.
Steve Jobs dropped out of college.
It’s also true that people have jumped out of airplanes without parachutes and survived.
What’s true is that, for the majority of people, you make more money if you go to college.
". . . elle, suivant l’usage des femmes et des chats qui ne viennent pas quand on les appelle et qui viennent quand on ne les appelle pas, s’arrêta devant moi et m’adressa la parole"—Prosper Mérimée
What’s true is that, for the majority of people, you make more money if you go to college.
That’s true. If you’re aim is to be like “most people”.
EVERY man here is not “most people”. Steve Jobs wasn’t either. Neither was Tesla. Neither was Wilbur Wright. Neither was Schopenhauer.
“Be alone, that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born.”
– TeslaThe pursuit of “making more money” is the wrong reason to get a degree.
I also know a man who made $80 million by his 3oth Birthday. No college. Add up the college degrees for $80 million. Those college grads may earn $1M in their entire working lives. So that 1 guy has them ALL beat.
More people making more money on average doesn’t mean jack.
“Most people” don’t even max their IRAs.It doesn’t matter what you “make”.
What matters is what’s jingling in your pocket at the end of the year.If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.The more men that drop out, the more the c~~~s win.

That’s not a “win” for women.Key word there is vulnerable. They are setting it up for the victim card. Then white knight big daddy government will be tasked with bailing out the t~~~s.
Men on the other hand… “F~~~ off, you should have known better, work off the student debt wage slave. Society has to take care of the special snowflake t~~~s because “victim”.”
Hell if I had known then what I know now, I would have done an apprenticeship learned a trade or two. The major I studied is not even close to the field I eventually wound up in.It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
Anonymous7I wont drop out. I’m gunna get my degree and make 100k off the bat
On a side note, f~~~ college.
Anonymous7My favorite redpill.
Only 1.5 percent of self made billionaires are women.
Don’t worry brother.Keymaster is correct. Modern education is a scam for the most part. The best way to beat the system is to get the cheapest education you can, get rid of your television and video games (sorry guys) and explore history, literature, science, philosophy and religion. Access to books via Amazon and the Internet in general is the greatest source of knowledge and wisdom in the history of mankind. Take advantage of it before the powers that be shut it down or make it to expensive. Build a library NOW!! And, of course, be a regular of sites in which members challenge each other, are respectful but not NICE. Hmmm, which one could that be:)…..
Anonymous7video games
Ive been raised on video games. I will never totally give it up.
Besides I read all the time. MY OWN BOOKS not that malarky I get fed in college.
The pursuit of “making more money” is the wrong reason to get a degree.
Its the only reason to get a degree. I’d be making 1/3 of what I currently am if this didn’t motivate me to get a degree.
EVERY man here is not “most people”. Steve Jobs wasn’t either. Neither was Tesla. Neither was Wilbur Wright. Neither was Schopenhauer.

Actually it does. You naming a few extreme outliers is what doesn’t mean jack. For most of us its going to boil down to an engineer makes more than a janitor and a chemist makes more than a fast food worker.
Betting your entire financial future on being the next Steve Jobs or selling a startup for multi-millions is about as practical as running off to Hollywood to be the next big actor, betting your future on being the next Michael Jordan…or well, just going and dumping your life savings on powerball tickets…they all probably have about the same odds of working out for you.
To Lottery,
The more you read, the less you will enjoy video games. The more I read, the more detestable movies and sports became. However, from a Catholic philosophical perspective, there is nothing inherently wrong with playing games. I look back on my life and cringe with regret on the wasted hours watching movies and sports when I could have been reading the Epic of Gilgamesh or ancient history as a back drop to ancient Israel (I currently read 3-4 books at a time). Again, movies and sports are not inherently evil. A positive aspect of sports has been its influence in keeping me physically active. I am sixty years of age and take no medicine; except the occasional beer and high quality brandy. I consider alcohol the poor man’s prozac :). I am presently enjoying a snifter of B & B brandy. But, of course, no person in the USA is poor in relation to most people throughout history and today.
God bless, MichaelI’ve said it until I’ve got blood spots on my face. I’ll say it again: College is a waste of time and money.
It’s a SCAM. The entire system is a SCAM. Even STEM fields are becoming over saturated. When everyone has a degree a degree means zilch. I have tried explaining this to my baby boomer parents until I’m blue in the face and they refuse (or can’t) understand.
If he has a dream and talent he can learn photography with a trade school or 2 year hands on degree, work for someone else, start his own business, and work his ass off and sacrifice until it gets going.
You don’t need a piece of paper from failures in the real world (i.e. college professors) to be successful in life.
Male photographers get ALLOT of young hot pussy. Especially if they run their own business. It’s a perfect job to reinforce a women’s false sense of being a divine sexual being.
There is even some guy in my building who is 50 and banging some twenty something. Dude is a photographer. I see him with younger girls sporadically all the time.
I tell younger guys all the time: You have to run your own business. Nobody ever made money working for someone else. People go to college because they “don’t know what else to do” and have this mindset they need a piece of paper granting them “permission” to succeed in life – so they can work for someone else.
It’s a fools game. Let these women have their worthless degrees. They are graduated enslaved in debt with things like psychology, liberal arts, Human growth and development. Complete silliness. And it’s all being funded by debt and other men.
Man this website takes too long to load for some reason.
