So as I enjoy this intl. men’s day, while getting ready for my day, trying to work my way out of the ruins my white knight idiocy made out of my once financially stable life. An unrelated but recurring question came to mind:

My goodness, I can relate to that. You are not alone, brother. Had it not been for white knighting and insane self-sacrifice for awful, awful women, I would be in rather better shape right now.

Where would we be if invention was left to women?

Many of us would be dead, as we are older than 35, and hunter/gatherer societies tend not to live past that point.

    From feminist icon Camille Pagilia:

She is just awesome, and her books are worth reading. I often disagree with her, but she is well-written, has fantastic command of language, and is exceedingly politically incorrect. Had she been male, they would have destroyed her. Two of her main theses that I particularly love are that homosexuals tend to be stuck at about age 10-12 mentally, and that rape is overrated as an event by Western culture. Note that Camille is bisexual, and admits that she’s often stuck at that age psychically when engaging with lesbians.

The reality is, women can go fight wars, they can build things, they can risk their lives for others.

The reality is they almost never do, and I’m not convinced that all women can do these things. I’m not even convinced that it’s a statistically relevant population that can.

You’ve also sort of proven the opposite point. Since women – very, very few – have occasionally done these things throughout history, obviously they were able to do so societally, even if there was added difficulty.

In history, every culture on Earth that has clothing, it was the women that were the primary seamstresses. Going all the way back to when humans lived in caves and women were sowing dried animal sinew together to make clothing.

*laughing* Clothing is so irrelevant to me, that one has never occurred to me. Excellent point, though.

"You can either love women, or understand women. You can't do both. Because once you understand women, you realize that there is really nothing to love."

    Thank you.

And my point is a one, two hit to feminist egos. On one hand, I point out something women did invent and refine, but it is the one profession that feminists hate women being associated with.

On a side note, I do disagree. Clothing is important. Especially, when in climates that have cold winter seasons. Clothing is a verifiable contribution that women have given to humanity, that all humans use all the time.

To continue the garden of Eden ejection premise, part of that was man’s sudden awareness of being naked and was ashamed in the sight…

So she only partially covered her fukup by inventing clothing (if we do indeed credit her with that) and possibly subjecting us all to seasons that make it impossible to remain naked

I found myself in a similar situation but I did get a patent and I found that all patents around the world are searchable within your own country in Australia it’s called AusPat. You just put in descriptive words into the search engine and pumps out results. When you have an idea just run through the database first before starting the project it’ll save a lot of pain and suffering.

credit where its due this women invented and made alot of money frommm…wait for it! Fake tan, wow how they must sit alone hour on hour thinking of things to make the world better (more like make their own lives better)

“There was no maternity pay from my company, nor from the government. Because of this, most women end up going back to work quickly after having children but I couldn’t bear to do that. Kate, who worked in the same company, had also had a baby and we’d talk over a bottle of wine about what we were going to do to make money. Motherhood is the hardest job in the world, no doubt, but it offers a certain flexibility where you can start thinking, “What else can I do?”’

Designing clothes and sewing clothes are not the same thing.

I believe that designing clothes is inventing new styles while sewing clothes is just a procedure.

In this one article on top 50 clothing designers, 31 of 50 are men. So 62% of the best clothing designers are men according to a very well respected source, an overwhelming majority.

Men are even better than women at inventing clothing based on this very unscientific study I just did. But the point is made..

Jezebel painted her eyelids approx. 840 BC

Egyptian Pharoes did it about 15oo years before that.

We would be living in mud huts in the year 2015.

This is one of the outcomes of the progress of today’s civilization that I actually do fear. Those crazies could really revert the human race back to the Late Stone Age. It could happen: Happily, it is not all that likely, but it is a possibility.

By the way, I know how to knap an arrowhead, spear point, or knife from a suitable piece of rock. It took some research and self-training, but once learned, it stuck.

I just want to point out, that the dishwasher was invented by a man… and the credit was stolen by a woman…
Same thing with the car windsheild wipers… invented by a man, credit stolen by a woman.
Kevlar was invented by a man… and again the credit was stolen by a woman.

    Incase anyone thinks of those.

This topic reminds me of Obama’s famous speech: “you’ve got a business—you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen”
