Would You Want to Buy Soup After Seeing This Ad?

Commercials are suppose to persuade you into buying a product. But would you buy Campbell’s Soup after seeing this ad including a screaming toddler?

I like Campbell’s Soup, but this ad didn’t persuade me into buying cans, because a screaming tantrum toddler is a major turn off for me. Nothing worse than a kid screaming, and they think it makes good advertisement.

I have raised children this ad is very factual. Of course I raise children 30 years ago things were not like this back then. If my kid screams like that my ex-wife would have gotten up and smacked her one. Women today

There’s a guy on Youtube in Scotland – a red pill MGTOW-er – who’s raising a kid alone. Not sure if the ex- is a methhead or what, for him to have custody. He’s on the dole. Says that raising a child is not f~~~ing rocket science, and has often pointed out that it is in fact wildly easier doing it without his train wreck of an ex- involved. Kid seems well behaved enough on video.

I like the guy who’s training his crying child that crying will be rewarded and comforted . . . with food. Wal-Mart motorized fattie cart in that family’s future, huh? Of course, given that it’s a giant, corn-syrup pumpin’ food conglomerate, not a shock that they think that subtext is awesome. The longer ad seems to be Campbell’s targeting ads to people who don’t know that reddit exists.

As for buying food based on the culinary preferences of three year olds, no, not so much. Kids will eat dirt, poop, and bugs. I don’t tend to rely upon them for my gourmet reviews. I eat Campbell’s Chunky soup on a relatively regular basis because it’s a)cheap on sale, and b)fuel. I also buy whatever the generic is that probably comes out of the same factory if it’s cheaper. As far as I can tell, all of the soup could well be the same thing, but it’s salty and msg-y enough that it doesn’t really matter.

I buy their specific product because it’s cheap and relatively foolproof. I buy Campbell’s chicken noodle soup because it seems decent enough if you have a cold if you don’t water it down. I also buy the generic if it’s cheaper (which it usually is).

Most ads are psychotic and seemed to be aimed at idiots nowadays.

PS – I like the kid in blackface. Bet that was unintentional. Anyone want to have some fun and start a troll petition complaining about Campbell’s racism?

I think the ads are there to target moms. I prefer to make my own soup. I like being the one who decides what goes into my soup rather than just accepting what the can gives me.

Like my own way of making chicken noodle soup. No carrots, but I put in baby kale instead, add a little lemon juice to taste and throw in some crumbled feta. It’s perfect for a cold winter meal.

This is more focused toward men because if the condom slips then ditch the kid then actual soup.
