I actually agree with you, Narwhal. I just didnt feel like writing a long piece about it. Decent movie, and you bring up some interesting points to think about re: Trevor actually being the hero, and Diana following his lead.

So, maybe not as fem as we thought. Still should have kept my money to myself, but i love 3d, cant get that at home, well unless i invest in a 3d TV 🙂

This is agit prop showing the weaker group kicking he s~~~ our of the stronger group, class politics alla Marxism.

This is an attempt to portray women as strong and agile as men. Capable of clear and calm assessment of a rapidly changing situation.

A warrior who has a vagina…a vagina warrior. It’s just the vagina monologues without the pedo parts.

I first learned about this 25 years ago when I lived in Hollywierd. I knew a lot of film writers and met one who wrote for “Xena the Warrior Princess”, the last Amazon on TV.

She told me that they were conciously trying to rebrand hero’s to dispel toxic masculinity. That’s why her protagonist, Hercules, was such a pussy loving mangina wimp.

So they are reprogramming society and it’s social control just like any other dictatorship. This time a dictatorship consisting of a coalition of feminist men and women against men.

Xena was such a pheno that a lesbian friend of mine had a life size Xena in her living room.

    Hollywierd.

Our new wonder woman versus Xena the Warrior Princess.

I get what you’re saying Puffin Stuff, but that is not what this movie is. I didn’t see what you’re talking about in the movie.

WW and the Amazons yes, but they clearly were not your average women. The movie made that clear. They were essentially created by the Gods to be different and were separated from them. Zeus created their island (not them) and protected them from harm. They clearly keep up with the times in isolation since their society was very primitive.

They did not show any non-Amazonian women doing anything remarkable at all.

She told me that they were conciously trying to rebrand hero’s to dispel toxic masculinity. That’s why her protagonist, Hercules, was such a pussy loving mangina wimp.

Not in this movie. No man was presented as being a useless moron. They were brave soldiers who went into trouble knowing they were liking going to die, and no one would even remember them. The villain was no pushover pussy, and actually outsmarted WW. He knew exactly what was going on also explained what humanity was to WW.

    Ok. Then do it.

Really isn’t a feminist film. As a quick example – the Amazonion women are set up as the daughters of Zeus (or something) and then loads of them get shot dead right at the start of the film – zero girl power there.

as Narwal says – this wasn’t about bringing men down like the usual feminist films and worked pretty well. There were one or two moments were it pushed the boundaries but going back to Star Wars Ep 7 – that was a girl power s~~~ fest and this wasn’t

plus I wanted to see Xena and Gabrielle get it on – that would have been something I would have paid good money to see

    Not your average woman???

Every woman I have ever met believed that she was a “gift from the gods”… even though, as you describe from the movie, they always needed men to explain to them how the real world actually works…

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

I’m going to watch it on pay per view when it comes out on your guys recommendation. Thanks.

I stand by what I said about Xena because I was there during Xena’s lesbo mania.

Here she is “loving” her pupil/side kick/lesbotronic. From a position of power…the Duluth wheel is spinning in it’s grave.

This was a much anticipated and cheered for scene by her fans.

They’ll fail to realize that WW was great because she didn’t whine and complain. She didn’t take men for granted and didn’t play the victim. She is barely a woman because she does not behave like a woman. It has nothing to do with her strength or abilities.

Actually I think you DID summarize her strengths and abilities:

    1. doesn’t whine and complain
    2. doesn’t take men for granted
and MOST IMPORTANTLY: 3. DOES NOT BEHAVE LIKE A WOMAN

I’ll put it this way. If women decided to look at Wonder Woman, as depicted in this film, as a role model, the world would be a much better place. This Wonder Woman isn’t going to wear a pussy hat. She isn’t going to make false rape or DV claims. She isn’t going to use men to get ahead. She isn’t going to play the victim, while men go die in a war. So yes, if women want to hold up WW as their hero, I am all for that! The world will be a much better place if they did.

But as I said before, they won’t. They will miss it entirely. They will not have introspective and think ‘what the hell have I been doing with my life’. They went in with an agenda and will leave with that same agenda.

Honestly, the movie did make consider my life and values a bit. It was thought provoking, for me anyway. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a movie that got me to think like that.

    Ok. Then do it.

To everyone’s surprise, a feminist/SJW is bitching about this movie:

    Yes, eat each other…..

Note to Hollywood: You can’t please these people. Drop the agenda and start making good films again. Until then, no sale.

I felt Wonder Woman was feminist-agenda-free and was a pretty good movie. I’d put it in the same class as the “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”, “Iron Man”, “X-Men: Days of Future Pass”, and “Captain America: Winter Soldier “.

I’d still say “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Avengers”, “Captain America: Civil War” and “Logan” are at the top of the class.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

Exactly. Not going to bother with the vid, but based on title, the idea that WW is too sexy is just dumb and shows a complete lack of thought. Can you point to a male superhero that wasn’t hired based on their good looks? Where are the ugly superheroes? The only legit complaint they could have is that she doesn’t have the muscle tone to match her strength. Sure, she’s a God and doesn’t need to have the muscles to match, but no actor gets away with that.

On top of that, Chris Pine’s character actually shows the most skin and is treated like a sex object. There is no doubt about that. And not all surprisingly, he still manages to be the character with the most depth.

    Ok. Then do it.

that is one of my favourite films. The only bit I can’t watch is the opening; where Black Widow is knocking out hardened mercenaries covered in body armour with one punch each. F~~~ing retarded feminist s~~~. Although I think it was only put there to appease the mangina reviewers rather than set the tone for the film because it never happens again – eg when Winter Soldier escapes and beats the s~~~ out of BW and that other random female agent

The rest of the film is just amazing in every way with the airport scene and the IM V CA scene being up there with the Battle of Hoth in terms of film goodness

You couldn’t pay me enough to see this trash. That lead actress was Miss Israel. Just more Zionist programming that I can live without. Feminism came from Karl Marx who was a Zionist.

All of this “woman empowerment” is bulls~~~. It’s just turning men into beta cucks. Feminism has done a number on masculinity. Without strong male role models, this world is f~~~ed.

Women. Parasitic trophies. Nothing more. Walk alone and walk proud. A wolverine always on the move, looking for more.

I decided to shorten my post to avoid TL;DR.

To all the yea-sayers in regards to the Wonder Woman movie,
Wonder Woman has always been a feminist avatar from the very beginning. She was created by a female supremacist, for crying out loud.

Oh yeah, and uh….no man has ever been able to win Wonder Woman in the comics. Not permanently, at any rate. Not even Superman. Not even the goddamn Superman was able to handle Wonder Woman for very long.

This is not a coincidence. Especially, because feminists love to imagine themselves as being too awesome for men to handle.

So, you can rest assured, gentlemen, if this film doesn’t stick its finger in your eye, one of its sequels definitely will.

Under normal circumstances I would have loved to see WW. However, DC/WB has been f~~~ing over their movies so bad, I can’t get myself to watch a movie that should have come out right after Man of Steel. What WB has done to try to catch up to Marvel such as what was done with BvS has basically ruined any interest I had.

F~~~ that, I’ll wait for Young Justice season 3.
