LMAO….women’s only screening of Wonder Woman…..Yeah…a bunch of feminists getting their panties wet.

    Who built the cinema?…..men
    Who did the plumbing?…..men
    Who did the electrical wiring?…men
    Who invented the camera?………men

    Who directed Wonder Woman?……..women

    And now for something refreshing:

I suspect that the theaters did this as a publicity stunt to get some free publicity, and it worked. It will be interesting to see how sales go for the female only screening. Women aren’t exactly famous for being big spenders. By eliminating men from the equation, they’ll likely see a decrease in food/drink sales. If that happens, you won’t have to worry about anymore women-only screenings of anything in the near future. If sales stay the same or increase, you’ll know because they’ll be doing this again and again. Since I have already paid for a woman’s movie ticket for the last time in this life, I’m not all that concerned with what they do. If the theaters were dependent on the money I and other men like me were spending to pay for tickets for women, then they may as well come up with something to get money from women to pay their bills, because they saw the last dollar from me years ago.

And if they don’t, and they lose business or go bankrupt, I don’t really care that much. I already own stock in Netflix as I don’t see the theaters being around 20 years from now anyway…

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

It was only 10 years ago there were many video rental stores around, full of customers selecting movies to watch. Now, these video stores are gutted out and the building up for sale, or already renovated and transformed into new stores. Most movies these days are absolute dog s~~~, undeserving of a full price movie ticket.

The fools are eliminating the films target audience,
most women would rather watch the latest Ryan Gosling Rom Com and see him shirtless then sit thru this Blue Pill Fap Fair.

The fools are eliminating the films target audience,

That is the most idiotic issue of the matter. They treat us like s~~~ but still want our money.

    That is foolish.

In contrast, I have noticed a very fun, open advertising campaign for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was a fun movie. The movie was a good father and son film. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has already made over $800 million at the box office. The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 film might clear a billion dollars at the box office.

I could think of a number of ways for advertising Wonder Woman movie which would have made the film money. The film was about Wonder Women in the middle of European front of World War I. (World War I was a century ago.)

The first advertisements for the Wonder Woman movie, a year ago, played up the soldiers in a respectful manner.

The Wonder Woman movie was released a few days ago, around Memorial Day. I believe someone involved in the making of this film had the right idea and that person was hoping the film and advertising for the film could play up to patriotism and honoring soldiers that fought in war.

Wonder Woman might have actually cleared a BILLION DOLLARS in ticket sales if they had done that.

But, the advertising people for the film want to play up the feminism angle and insult men.

The advertising people do not understand the audience and whom should be their target audience for a successful film.

American people will pay through the nose for films and advertising that compliments them and their beliefs. But, these same people will not spend a penny on someone, or something which insults them.

Yes, Hollyweird is so toxic nowadays, I can’t be bothered to watch their s~~~. This is coming from a guy that worked in a movie theater as a projectionist for 2 years. I used to love film. It is s~~~, nowadays, and so is music. Absolute trash.

The only way you would ever catch me watching this movie is if the leading lady were blowing me in the theatre while I stuffed my face with popcorn, licorice, and Milk Duds. Oh, and she would have to pay for it all as well.

    Women-only . . . SCREAMING.

    It wasn’t even women only!
400 bikers could have showed up and lied. They got so triggered.

You have to “identify as woman”

So gay men and TG who male identify are excluded!

Looks like feminists don’t care about gays or TG people

Flame if you want guys, but i saw the film on opening night. Im a MGTOW, so i can do whatever the flying f~~~ i want, and i wanted to see it for a lot of reasons, one being to see if it was truly as radfem as we were expecting.

Interestingly, on OPENING NIGHT, at the 10:15 showing, the place was DESERTED. My date and i just sat in the most prime seats in the house, as there was literally about 12 people in the place including us. Funny because i saw Ghost in the Shell on opening night, which, being a fan of the anime, i thought was pretty awesome. Same thing though. Like 20 people in the whole place. I dunno if peeps are just starting to stay home and use Itunes and Amazon for movies more, or what, but i dont know how much money they are making on movies these days, especially what is supposed to be a Summer Blockbuster.

TLDR; I was a little disturbed by some of the themes (Its WW2 and one woman kicks all the ass while the men “cant”?!) , and there was a definite subtle fem undercurrent the whole way through, but all in all i didnt mind it. Its still Hollywierd though, and im sure there were some subliminal messages hidden in it, etc etc..

Neo: "Why do my eyes hurt?" Morpheus: "Because you have never used them before"

Second the motion! I almost never go to the theater but I went to see this and far from being disappointed was actually surprised at how good it was.

…………….And this is why piracy won’t die. Guys probably watched the movie without these bitches permission, and without giving them a single red cent. I personally won’t waste my time unless the REAL wonder woman, yes, Lynda Carter herself, comes forth and gives it the okay. I’m still not going to a movie theater even then.

Keep pumping out the feminist agenda hollywood, because while you may temporarily have feminists panties wet, and have blue pill cucks worshipping the overflowing toilet bowl that is the modern day female collective hive … in the end it will lead more of them to the realization they are neck deep in a landfill, and they will go MGTOW.

I saw the movie as well, but had a slightly different take then Neon_Phoenix. I really enjoyed the movie. At it’s core, I think it celebrates the struggles and sacrifices that men make. They advertise it as feminist and throw in some feminist lines, but the reality is the Wonder Woman becomes a hero because she learns from men. I’ll see if I can explain without spoilers.

The movie starts with Diana growing up on the island. All women. They were tasked with being protectors of man by Zeus, yet here they are living their sheltered live without a concern for the world. Wonder woman leaves against the wishes of her mother when she realizes the world needs help.

She doesn’t know anything about the world, and leans on Steve Trevor (exactly job by the way) to explain things to her. She takes a feminist POV on some of what she learns, but it’s also clear that she doesn’t understand what she’s talking about, while Trevor does. One of my favorite lessons goes like this.

[Trevor] Men and women make a commitment to marry, have babies, and stay together forever.
    [Diana] They stay together forever?
    [Trevor] Sadly, not very often.

Diana makes fun of women’s fashions, considers them pointless and silly. She does not hate men, she doesn’t understand them, but really understands them better then non-Amazonian women.

The movie shows much of the hardship of the war, and does not pretend that men don’t suffer from it. One of the men she fights with suffers from PTSD and she does not consider him weak or useless. The men are thankful for her efforts in the war, with relief that they have help for all that they’ve done. She does not hate men, not at all. She has much pride in herself, because she knows she is a god, but does not see men as lesser then women.

The female villain is actually a great representation of women I think. She is evil and vindictive. She sees herself as the victim. Others should suffer as she has.

She is not strong (mentally) at all, but takes direction from her boss. She appears jealous of other women.

I think you could make a strong argument that the real hero of the story is not Wonder Woman, but Steve Trevor. He is her motivation and the example to follow. She is the reason she understand humanity is worth fighting for. Take him out of the movie, and then it’s just not very good.

I have no doubt that women watching the movie will miss it. They’ll fail to realize that WW was great because she didn’t whine and complain. She didn’t take men for granted and didn’t play the victim. She is barely a woman because she does not behave like a woman. It has nothing to do with her strength or abilities.

It’s great that it’s directed by Jenkins, she did a good job. Funny how everyone forgets that it was written by 3 men. To me the story and Chris Pine’s acting is what makes this a good movie. I’m not saying the directing and Gadot weren’t good, because it was, but that it is not what I took away from this.

I don’t think the movie is worthy of boycott on it’s on, but because feminists will misunderstand it, it’s understandable to do so. It really would be interesting to see a feminist try and make a logical argument about how the movie is a feminist piece.

Edit: The one thing my kids didn’t like about the movie was the behavior of the other viewers. Particularly the two women sitting next to us. My daughter thought they were loud and obnoxious.

    Ok. Then do it.

If they can come up with intersectional quantum physics to fight the “oppression of Newton” then this would not be too difficult for them. Just ignore all facts, science, and logic. Then, say anything that the hamster wheel can puke out.

I agree with your review and I enjoyed it too

I put in another thread on here that Chris Pine was the real hero of the story. It also helped that WW wasn’t a Mary Sue like Rey from Feminist Awakens was (plus as you have said – she accepted help from men and wasn’t like that rodent from Star Wars refusing to take a man’s hand because “girl power”)

I watched the film and I thought it was a pretty cool film.

I think ultimately this film depicts the sacrifice men make during times of war. How hardships forge men of steel who will give their all when the their time of need comes.

No doubt this will be sorely missed by most women.

I just want the fembots to stop pushing their ideology into my favorite comic books heroes. It is getting really old.

This movies as a whole had little to do with feminism, but more about belief and how this life is worth fighting for.

    Fuck bitches... literally and metaphorically
