It’s not just the opportunity costs… “succeeding” as a pick up artist is inherently detrimental to the self. PUAs actually have a semi-legit argument against that.

A lot of men don’t like themselves already, and they don’t have a lot of self-respect certainly not properly prioritized. They actually hold women in higher esteem than themselves (on a pedestal)….. so there really is nothing wrong with “cueing in another person”.
