So I stumbled upon this article earlier today and decide to give it a read.

    http://www.esquire.com/lifestyle/money/a44086/four-men-four-numbers/

It seemed pretty reasonable at first. The higher earning guys seemed to handle their money well and have plans to make even more money, and the middle income guy seemed like an average guy…knew he had to live on a budget but was ok with that and seemed to be doing alright for himself.

When I read the part about the poor guy, it just absolutely infuriated me.

Family status: Single with two daughters, 7 and 4

Ok…he’s a single dad…let’s see what else it says about him…

The biggest two-week check I’ve had so far is $250.

Wait…what? The article says he was making 7.00 an hour + tips. Am I supposed to feel bad for this guy when his bi weekly check means he worked 36 hours in two weeks? I know how he could double his income…work more than 18 hours a week like the rest of us do.

But the thing that p~~~ed me off the most…

I’m on food stamps, and I get $400 a month through EBT.
Do you think your taxes are too high? Yes, I do.

Woh wait…what the f~~~? This guy who’s biggest check ever was 250 bi weekly…so what’s he make 500 a month and tips that he doesn’t claim(does anybody claim tips?)…yet he gets 400 a month in food stamps and thinks his taxes are too high? Unless he’s somehow paying an 80% tax rate his effective tax rate is already less than zero if you factor in food stamps and nothing else…

Furthermore…he’s low income head of household with 2 kids…so at income tax time he’s literally getting more money in his tax return thanks to tax credits than he paid in.

How the f~~~ are his taxes too high when not only does he not pay any…but SOCIETY PAYS HIM just for being a single parent with a s~~~ty job that works part time hours? These f~~~ing leeches should be saying thank you to society for supporting their sorry asses…not saying their taxes are too high.

F~~~ the welfare state…I can’t wait for this mother f~~~er to collapse.

We all should hate the welfare state, and here is why: http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2013/03/karl_marx_and_the_american_dream.html

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

western countries these days like to steal money from hard working men, and give it to single mothers.

i don’t think this method is sustainable….income tax is soooo high….

the welfare state also destroys families cuz fathers are competing against government cheques…..thus more women are single mothers by choice

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

It also funds around-the-world holidays for non-working single-mothers. A case in point is British taxpayer sponge Kay Bird, 28 –

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2963750/Benefits-single-mother-admits-spending-3-000-taxpayers-cash-dream-round-world-trip-Australia-Bali-Dubai.html

In Australia, welfare is so generous single mothers are way better off on the dole than getting a job, especially ones that made no effort at school or university and found the easiest way to secure a meal-ticket was to lay back, ride the c~~~-carousel and take enough loads of c~~~-snot to milk the system for life. This mother is on $50,000 TAX FREE a year. I know plenty of hard-working blue-collar male friends with dependents who would love to clear $50,000 a year –

The woman in this story, Alexandra Girle, still complains that a cool 50g is not enough money and that some nights she skips meals to save money. Given her size, it’s obvious she’s not skipping too many meals. Five kids! Maybe stop breeding!

The Welfare system is such a large ponzi scheme here in Australia, the government dole ATM Centrelink had to implement an new computer system to cope with all its ‘clients’ –

Oh man I can talk about this topic for hours and hours but I don’t want to bore anyone, so here are some visual aids. Welfare is resulting in theft, Instead of being robbed on the street you’re being robbed by the government to support lazy stupid people and illegals.

I agree with RoyDal. I have ALWAYS hated the welfare state. It rewards poor planning and stupidity.
If we have to keep the welfare state, it should be a one time set amount. Once you go on welfare you should have to make due with whatever benefits you get. Having more kids should not increase benefits. No member of this forum or taxpayer can go to their boss, customers or government and get paid more because their wife or girl friend got pregnant.

the welfare state is the primary reason for the decline of western society.
free s~~~ equals people DO NOT have to be responsible for themselves.
the “immigrants” into europe are there for free s~~~.
single mothers can get plenty of free s~~~.
TAKE AWAY the welfare state and you force these people to become personally responsible.
big SUGAR DADDY state enables the scum to proliferate .
and YOU work overtime so a jihadist can have free pita bread ,
and little baby can get free milk while mommy smokes crack..

The welfare state is something that gives Tradcons something to whine about so men can go their own way, without being hounded by Tradcons even more then they are to “man up” to take care of a woman. Before the welfare state, it was up entirely to families to look after their own, and each generation needed each man to get a wife and kids to take raise, so they had retirement.

But, carry on, and keep complaining about the welfare state.

There is no reason for a single mother with 2 or more kids in Oz to work. NONE. They are worse off if they work. 1 kid is about on par to working min’ wage. It’s totally bulls~~~. I personally know 2 single mums who quit their jobs to go on welfare because they will be better off.

We have the government paying better than min’ wage to a single parent in welfare, paying for respite care to give them a break for the hard work they do. Not stopping payments to dole bludgers who don’t look for work or knock back work, hand out disability payments willy nilly, pay towards child care for working mothers. Give free housing and money to the “refugees” coming in while we have 1000’s of homeless on our streets. The tax system “encourages” low income people/families to stay below curtain thresholds as they will gain extra payments from welfare, more benefits (money), don’t have to have private health insurance, pay less medicare levies if any and so on.

The western world as we know it now will fall, maybe in our life time, over because of 2 things, Welfare and the indiscriminate refugee influx.

I’m a little compassionate. I could understand welfare or unemployment but 4-weeks max with a cap of $100. After that you get nothing. People get too comfortable and lazy beyond a month or more than $100.

I think the primary reason for welfare should be:

To help people who are mentally and physically incapable of getting a job.

After that, I don’t mind helping people who are unemployed or have an economic hardship because they have to take care of a relative, spouse, or children. If the economic hardship is temporary, I expect these people to start looking for a job. Having said that: I think it’s RIDICULOUS for a person to decide to have kids while making minimum wage (or less). The logical thing to do is to get some money first & then have kids. I wouldn’t even consider raising a child unless I was making a minimum of $30,000 a year. With that salary, you can barely scrape by as a single parent. If a man or a woman wants to have a baby, this is my suggestion:

    1) Get a job.
    2) Make sure you work your way up to a salary that allows you to have a life.
    3) Make sure the person you’re f~~~ing is interested in taking care of babies.
    4) Get some life insurance policies so the widow won’t be left with HUGE expenses!!!
You can get a freakin’ life insurance policy for as little as $120 a year.

With hard work, and careful planning, the average person can get by here in the USA. I suggest that men wait until they are 30 if they insist on getting married. By the time a man is 30 years old, he should have a good idea of what he wants out of life, has spent some years working and learning job skills, and has learned from the mistakes he’s made during his youth and his dating experiences. Jumping into a marriage right after high school is too risky. I don’t understand why people can’t wait. An 18 year old would be better off going to college or a trade school instead of raising a child.

Hate to sound harsh (not for the mans sake) but the kids you have are your kids. -I feel you need to put employment frist before the kids come (that is a statement that gets me in trouble -I wonder why?) Anyways this guy going full poor f~~~ having a s~~~ tone of kids is just another reason all dip the f~~~ away from the “norms” that most likely influenced this guy to go that far.

Every time welfare is brought up, this comes to mind:

That’s a good example of an unintended consequence. Welfare was designed to help people who had a TEMPORARY economic hardship. I can’t understand why someone would want to build his/her life around government handouts. Keep your legs closed, lady. Sheesh. Or at least have sex with a man who HAS A JOB and a sense of responsibility.

I live in a country where the government refuses to believe in a welfare state. Any hand outs given are temporary and are only meant to supplement things like transport and the tax on local goods.

It certainly deterred many but at the same time, we still have plenty of totally irresponsible people who pop out kid after kid after kid and they lure in some poor beta to sweep up the pieces.

    Some people just need neutering.

Welfare states are the worst. I hate it when crony capitalism takes over as well, but I’d rather have crony capitalism than a welfare stare where people get free s~~~ for being lazy.
