You’ll want that charge card if you’re driving and you’re car breaks down and needs to be towed away, car repairs, or you’re about to run out of gas.

They have credit cards for:
Weddings (36% of ‘couples’ pay with credit cards http://www.market~~~ch.com/story/one-third-of-couples-go-into-debt-for-their-wedding-day-2015-09-29 — ‘And almost 30% of those were still paying off the costs of their (read: Her) big day six years after the event.’
Honeymoon
Dates at Fine Restaurants
Shopping (after marriage)I put my bills on a credit card so I can use real money to buy stocks. Before the interest-free period ends I pay off my Mastercard in full. I also use my stock purchases as collateral to borrow money to buy more stock.
Credit, used wisely, can rapidly increase your wealth. It can also kill it, if you don’t know what the f~~~ you’re doing.
I use them for online purchases, many hotels and car hire companies won’t take a debit card.
A credit card means you have been screened financially by the company, pay it off each month no issue.
Good for emergencies, good for building credit rating, practically mandatory for buying s~~~ online where you get things cheaper so saves money.
Now all that can certainly go wrong as well with out of control spending and living outside your means.
I started by telling myself “Oh, I’ll just use it for emergencies.” Then I changed it to: “I’ll never charge more than I can pay off in month.” Yeah, right. Took a long time to get that discipline back.
Just a friendly heads up to you guys that use debit cards. This is one place where the credit card is better. If you debit account gets hacked, and the money is withdrawn from your account, it can take weeks, if not months, to get your money back into your bank account. Think about that. With a credit card, the credit gets restored, usually within hours after the claim. So be warned my friends, the debit card has one serious drawback.I don't hate women. I just feel better when they're not around.

Wonder how many were still paying for it after the divorce lol.
Just dont give the wife or gf a credit card and most men will be fine with their finances. We are usually careful with our money considering the toil and sweat it took to earn every cent.
It is harrowing to know some of the stories of other guys here. From my experience, the x made me pay for her credit purchases and said it was just this and that amount. What she didnt say was that it was the monthly amount which I didnt even agree too. Talk about a fine print in that. Then she would emotionally manipulate me that I agreed to pay and say that I forgot that I agreed to pay then the waterworks. Damn…Same stories guys…I stand with feet apart and let my balls hang free...Manginas dont have balls...See how they stand and sit at the whim of their masters...
I never had a credit card. I only use debit cards, and the account link to it have minimum money so even if it get stolen and freeze for a few months, I am still OK.
If there are expensive things that I want to buy, I just online transfer money from my main account to my debit card account.Making moving money to buy expensive items inconvenient is good. By the time I reach home to transfer money, whatever hormones or chemical reaction in my brain that cloud my judgment clears and I would be sure if I want the item.
My multiple debit cards are enough for emergency, and my mentality is if I cannot afford it now I probably don’t need it.
As for credit card cash back, I rent a place close to work and cycle there, so I don’t need petrol cash back. And credit card always offer cash back on luxury that I don’t need. And want you to spend more then you need for that sizable monthly cash back. If I only need to spend 300 a month for grocery but spend $500 for that extra 5% cash back, do I gain $25 or lost $175?
I figured I can profit some if I research on the benefits the credit card gives and cancel card as necessary. But I don’t think the time and effort lost is worthwhile for that little money.
So I don’t think credit card is for me. If it is so great, the banks don’t need to advertise and phone me now and then to get a credit card.
There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.
Got you gnostic.
I do same my usual account never has more than 1k top.
Only have 1 debit card.
That’s it.
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
Essentially, if you don’t have control over your spending, either from personal issues or giving someone else access, then CC can be financially devastating. If you do have control, then CC can be a good thing.
I never had issues with CC debt…until I got married. Now that I’m no longer married and recovered, I have no issues.
One thing that people don’t consider is that the banks make money not just from your interest, but the charge the vendor a fee as well. I forget the details, but if it’s you’re buying something around $5 or so, it can completely eat whatever profit the vendor is making off the sale. I believe debit is the same way. Given that, I’ll sometimes opt to pay cash to a vendor I like. It’s almost like giving them a tip without changing the bottom line to you.
Ok. Then do it.
They’re a liability. Plain and simple. Use it like a liability if you really must.
Nahhhh yo the moment I never needed a credit card.
Hard pass

I only had a credit card once; ten years ago. It was to sign up for a porn site and nothing else.
Other than that they are virtually pointless.
One genuine reason to have one is that if you can manage a credit card balance and pay off negative balances then it improves your credit score.
Most people have them because they are living paycheck to paycheck and actually need them.
It depends sometimes you need a card for vacation or for a business expense but on the whole credit will f~~~ you in the ass if you allow it to run unchecked for to long like a viral disease.

That’s a valid concern, but what I did is open a separate account with my credit union just for the debit card. Since the debit card is a separate account with it’s own separate account number, the most I stand to loose in the event of an error or fraud is the amount in my debit card account, which I usually keep fairly low ($500-$1000) for making routine purchases. I’ve only had one instance of a disputed charge when an Amazon seller didn’t deliver merchandise as promised, and my credit union was really good processing my claim and I got a prompt refund.
I do keep one credit card with the same credit union. I normally keep the credit card fully paid of with $0 balance, but occasionally use the credit card when a car rental company requires a credit card for taking out the rental car. Even then, I’ve found that on returning the rental card and settling the rental charge they are happy to change the payment to my debit card on my request.
I used to play the game charging things on my credit card and paying the full balance each month to get the annual cashback rewards, but I’ve evolved to the point where for me it just isn’t worth the trouble.
However, cash is still my favorite way of paying for things. I like the anonymity of paying with cash and I like to feel I’m doing my part in resisting big brother & government’s push towards a cashless society.
I used credit cards to help rebuild my credit. It was in the low 300’s after a failed marriage. I would buy everything that gave the option, with my credit card. I then would pay off the credit card before the interest hit. The trick is, the statement would hit the day before the interest. I would zero the balance on this day, as I was informed that the statement needed to show a ballance for maximum impact. You will need to check the dates with your company, as they all seem a little different. Either way, I now have a platinum card that gives cash back, so keeping a zero balance actually makes me money in its use.
online shopping – I won’t ever use my debit card online for safety reasons but if my credit card gets cloned then it is the bank’s money rather than mine
Hummm.
Till now I never needed a credit card.
I got credit at banks for 50k and mortgage for 250k.
And my account never has more than 500β¬
Soo i think im cool
πTo those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
I use a rewards CC for all my purchases and pay as many bills as I can with it too. Pay it off in full every month.
Free money for using their card and the card isn’t tied to my bank account, so they can’t jack my $.
CC’s are not the devil, like they are reputed to be. You just have to have discipline and not live beyond your means.
Kind of how I live my life anyway…
Motorcycles saved my life (tried to take it a time or to as well).
