Why do men put up with women who just gives up on the marriage?

Two thoughts….

First, although my situation was not like his, I feared how I would be viewed be others (my family, my kids) as a divorced man. I looked at it as failing. I didn’t want to fail.

Second, I imagine in many cases, the men have been beat down with such low self esteem that they do not believe they deserve better treatment then their wife is getting. They may believe she is acting this way because he isn’t treating her right.

A third reason that may be related to the second, he may be harboring a secret that he’s not telling you. Perhaps he’s a poor lover, or has an addiction that he feels would disqualify him to have a relationship with someone else.

Q: Why do men put up with women who just gives up on the marriage?

A: Because apart from being logical creates we are also emotive (not to be confused with emotional) thus we tend to bond with our long term partners creating a value for them within our lives and it is THIS that women manipulate for their own agendas.
