I’m gentle on myself and healing. I managed to keep my job.

I now can take time out and go off alone in the car for a drive to a country village, get a nice lunch and take in fresh air and views.

I’m lucky to have survived. She didn’t think I would. She thought I’d likely hang myself.

More dangerous than playing with explosives or high voltages.

My music was the thing that got me through and c~~~s would see that and always take my cassette recorder away for days and months when they wanted to discipline me. Mostly over nothing and they were sadistically looking for reasons to break me.

Let me explain this analogy further.

With many men (not all), one builds up equity in the relationship. Like buying a house, or land.
