I believe it will happen when unsustainable public debts cause currency collapses in the US, Eurozone, and elsewhere. Debt is the biggest threat in my opinion.

I agree with you. It will happen as more and more Westerners stop being afraid of being “bankrupt”.

Forty years ago it was still extremely taboo to be “divorced”. It meant you were a failure within society. The taboo is now lifted and divorce is now the rule, rather than the exception.

Give it 20 more years and instead of killing themselves, people will just grin at the banks and loan companies when they are $500,000.00 in debt, then say… “OOpsie!” and just file for bankrupcy.

There is no debtors prisons… yet. Money guru’s are teaching commoners they in’s and out’s of defaulting and bankrupcy laws. They are teaching average joes how to negotiate a settlement for dimes on the dollar. Either the banks will convince Big Gubment to further enforce dept payment with prison, or small gubment will win and tell the banks “Well then… you shouldn’t have given a No Income No Job homeloan to a crackhead…. dumbass.”

The only way for our fiat based, keynesian (fake money) economy to work is to exponentially increase debt. As more people realise that they are suffering under impossible amounts of debt they will never be able to pay back, they will just default and file bankrupcy. They will finally get off the hampster wheel, then be “burdened” by having no credit and live within their means.
This will cripple the economy.

That, or the government will try and enforce debtors prison and be met with a hail of bullets.

Either way, I’m making popcorn because this s~~~ will happen in my lifetime.

I think the S has HTF several times already and continues to do so now. Just not necessarily in your own front yard, yet.
The next biggie will probably be a global currency “reset” where everybody’s money will suddenly become worthless. There is always global war and natural disasters to help propagate the reset to make it seem more plausible and “legitimate”.
Have a plan for such things and your life will be less stressful.

I do believe in SHTF as a real possibility. History has many redpills.

But in our age of warfare grade weaponry being massively produced and quick mobilization, things would go south pretty fast.

Unfortunately, the nations around equator would have better survival than those further away.

Unless Pakistan figures its party time before everyone else RSVPs.
