Not necessarily. I had a layover a while back at DFW and had lunch at a bar and got into a conversation with a man next to me. He said that he was a VP with a major energy company and they were working on building five new energy facilities around the southwest and were having a really hard time staffing them with quality employees from the pool of college grads (millennials). He said they’ve actually had meetings discussing what they are going to do about this entitled generation who has no work ethic and expect so much to be given to them. It’s a known thing that this generation is a problem.
You can’t really expect people to self-evaluate themselves and to be honest, especially when it comes to the most out-of-tune generation I’ve ever seen. Seriously, do they need to have their eyes peeled on their smartphones every 15 minutes? The only type of person I can think of who can honestly self-evaluate themselves is a modest person, and those types of people are few and far between.
I’m not surprised, the millennials’ responses were expected. But as with any group, at least there are few good apples in the batch (shout-out to our millennial MGTOWs on this site).

Many of my customers were industry executives and they all told me the same in exactly the same words (In German, of course).
“This entitled and spoiled generation” That was my special marketing segment. I did all the things that they couldn’t do anymore, while “remaining young”.
“No work effort”: The work that my younger colleagues left behind always looked like it had been “sewn with a hot needle”. It fell apart after a few weeks. S~~~ty craftsmen were my livelihood.
Sometimes I could lament for hours on how stupid someone had tried to fasten the antenna on the roof or why they cut the cables in the wall off too short and I had to use medical-OP-like skills to connect the outlet sockets. Things so dumb, that no one can believe it.The Millennials aren’t even capable of reading any mounting instruction. It is as if they have 10 thumbs.
People wouldn’t ask me my price but just say “help me, all they done is s~~~”. I always charged high but correctly. “High” because I invested in tools, skills and knowledge.
People had the option of paying 45 Euros/hour for junk work or my 65 Euros for work that lasts until after my death.
My work ethic was seen on my TV junkyard: Our “takeaway man” dropped me because all he ever got from me was “unfixable”, meaning that my competitors threw away TV sets with small defects just because they were too dumb or too lazy to fix them.
When I threw something away, it was really “f~~~ed”. So since 2004, I had to bring my electronics junk to the recycling yard all by myself. Nobody wanted “my junk” anymore.
After the “analogue switch-off” in 2012, I threw away intact TV’s and satellite receivers that I had fixed 10 years before.
Manufacturer’s intended lifespan: 3 years, after my soldering and removing weak-spots: 13 years.
That is work ethic.
And that was my way of keeping my customers away from Amazon and the like.

I’m a millennial and I can’t STAND to be around anyone from my generation. They’re all retarded liberals that can’t spend 5 minutes without looking at their damned smartphones. They’re so brain dead and slow that they can’t even scan an item at the supermarket, and they believe that they deserve to live in a half a million dollar house and drive a fifty thousand dollar car working at Walmart.
Millennials have more access to information than ANY previous generation. They have a computer in their pocket that’s 100,000x more powerful than the computers 50 years ago, yet they’re dumber than any previous generation. Do they use all that power to gain knowledge and better themselves? No. They use it to take “selfies” and brag about their narcissistic little lives on social media to their “friends” that are only friends with them so they can share their BS. Social media is nothing but a bunch of idiots that don’t care about anyone else bragging to other idiots that don’t care about them. I’d rather carry on a conversation with a brick wall than “share” s~~~ about my life on social media.

I can’t stand most of this generation as well. And they don’t even honor your “good old days effort”. You fix their unfixable things and they don’t even give you any credit for it. The money was the only incentive to work for these assholes. And sometimes they brought me to the point of telling them “what I think” and this made myself some enemies.
I think that this “entitled asshole” generation is responsible for many craftsmen that closed down their companies after a burnout. I said the same to myself: “I go on working as long as I can but I WON’T WORK FOR THIS GENERATION.”
And I told these people sometimes how much I hate them. And that “MR. PERFECT”, that LAST local TV-shop owner with skills and knowledge will leave the market and “f~~~ the assholes” for good.
I told my customers how much fun I had working in the last 18 years and that this “NEW” asshole generation made me dump all of my knowledge in the garbage bin.

It was pure horror. They expect “works of art” in “fast food speed” and an “overnight express” way.
Same was with the women of that generation: They even looked down at someone who has to work for his money. They wouldn’t appreciate “how much” it is and that it was 3 times the average income… They would just look down and say “is this worth it”?
And I would say: “Betcha, As long as I can spend 2200 Euros per month on CD’s and still go out tzo restaurants twice a day… I don’t see any problems”
Women made me arrogant, by looking down at me.
I had to give it to them by showing them “how poor they are” and that they will never again get someone like me. All women triggered that dealbreaker. And they did it first. I only became arrogant AFTER they had told me that they look down on “craftsmen”.
And that I should get a real job. I boil while writing this.
None of them ever honored or appreciated anything I had or anything I did. And “self-made-men” can be very sensitive in that respect.

Once I was referring to my hourly rate as “pain compensation” and that shut them up because they knew that they would have a hard time finding a replacement.
And the millennials treat you like a child whenever they have the slightest issue with you. And they treat their customers that way also. And there we have the reason why the quality of service providers and the number of capable craftsmen is ever decreasing. I had to give up my company due to chemical poisoning about 3 years ago. No one was able to replace me. Even if it would have paid well. But no one was there to fill in the gap.
And today, with all the aggressiveness towards “service people” one has to be an ultra red-piller anyway. Once you go around your potential girlfriend’s hive charging money for your services then she will get bad repercussions for being with you, “the crook that takes all of their money for something he should have done for free”…
That was the second big reason for being bitch free for all of these years. Bitches got in trouble with their hive that didn’t see why they would have to pay for my “worthless and unqualified work”.
I always asked them “why did you call me?”
“Yes, because your “studied” and smart friends and relatives were totally incapable of doing this”
“I have a monopoly and the bad ass behavior of “some people” have caused it”
“I am the last person that can stand “customers like this”, and that’s why I’m out of competition”
And you could see them boil. I would not reduce my price because of their entitlement and arrogance.
No matter how much they hated me.
I still don’t care if the village hive sees me as an antisocial. And it sets me free.
In Germany we have a saying “Life becomes shame free once your reputation is ruined”.
Some jobs will turn you into a MGTOW.

So I had my fill with women.
Getting your life threatening work on rooftops and dealing with high voltage inside TV sets called “unqualified” work, you start to see women as subhumans.
You have to devalue them in order not to become hateful or aggressive.

What kept me on the job all of these years were the people that didn’t f~~~ with me. 80 percent of my customers were from the older generations and they knew that my work was anything but easy and they saw the organized way I worked. And that I never left the location before I was finished.
They saw that I had 100000 Euros of stock items so I would finish almost every job without having to say “I’m back in 2 weeks, I have to order your parts”…
And older people saw that this perfectionism comes at a price.
But these people died away, year after year.
And reopening a service business for the millennial generation?
No, I rather work for the garbage collection company. That’s what I tell people that ask me – in public and on the street. No more fixing difficult things for entitled assholes.

If a male millennial has found his way to this site and is in good standing then he has my respect.I wish a place like this existed when I was younger.

I used to do hiring at a data center and I could not find one younger entitled person to work for us in the pool we had. Every little t~~~ that came in wanted 80k a year and 3 weeks vacation out of the gate, was funny to tell them that’s not how it works. Eventually hired a guy in his 40’s that was wicked to work with and understood what work ethic was.
Knowledge is power..... Don't waste your brain on bullshit
