I just googled “forced marriage” and it is happening all over the world and been going on for centuries. Of course, here in the Western World it is illegal and governments are cracking down on it.

My OP was aimed at the normal single guy that is alone – all by himself, wants to be left alone and suddenly faces this bulls~~~…

Even women don’t want forced marriage. This was proposed I think a hundred years ago, we have newspaper articles about it.

But I’ll tell you what will happen if men are forced to marry. Either they will marry other men like sidecar suggests (and I suspect this happened in Sodom and Gommorah—I suspect women were so obnoxious men didn’t want anything to do with them), or men will start beating their wives. Obviously, we MGTOW don’t condone beating women, hence we are against forced marriage, because we have, as always, tried our best to protect women from the oppression and violence of marriage.

MGTOW tells men not to marry not for men’s interest, oh no, but because we care for women. And you can quote me on that, and tell all the feminists and women that. We are their allies, really. That will be my official response to the government too. If outsourcing and the lack of rent control are for the benefit and protection of the average American, surely not forcing men into marriage is for the benefit of womankind. We have legal precedent in place. I’m sure we can even sponsor an economic study that will show unmarried women are more economically independent and have higher wages (mostly because they quit work whenever they have an excuse).

That might be a problem if, say, there were only a single normal single guy in the whole country. He’d be pretty screwed. But there are normal single guys everywhere. I don’t think it would be all that hard to create a simple system to help them arrange sham “gay marriages” to avoid pernicious bachelor taxes. It’s just a simple change in tax filing status, nothing more. With the way they’re trying to broaden the definition of common law marriages to trap more men, all it might take to file the paperwork is an addressed envelope.

Women and lawyers keep f~~~ing with the meaning of marriage in their eternal quest to get into men’s wallets. I don’t see why we shouldn’t use that to keep them out instead.
