Four years ago I decided enough was enough. I was putting down a liter of Tequila every night plus beer. Haven’t had a drop since. I am having the time of my life.
You have to really, in your heart want to stop. I have no want or need for a drink any more. I am done going down that road, no intentions of returning. No more feeling like s~~~ in the morning, no more hangovers, and yes good sleep at night. When you decide, is when you will do what you want. Good luck, brother, I’ll be here to talk.

HOLY SMOKES – a liter a night of tequila?? That is hard corps. Hangovers suck.

CombatRoll – we derailed your threat some but here’s my serious answer.

The solution lies in making small changes.

Cutting down how much you drink when you drink but continue the frequency. Once the amount you consume is reduced to level you are comfortable then reduce the frequency.

Fill you time with other activities that run counter to alcohol. Some sort of Hobby that sidelines alcohol.

Often with excessive substance use there may be underlying psychological reasons for the attraction to the substance.

Do a bit of introspection and ask yourself what is it about alcohol that makes it feel so rewarding to you.

Ultimately – realise that it’s always going to be there. You can have some whenever you want so hold off for a day or several.

Dont forget that as we age we develop age related illness which are largely the product of our lifestyle.

I don’t know how old you are. Maybe you she time on your side. Maybe you don’t.

But either way it’s rewarding to develop self mastery.

    I wish you well.

If you are determined – you will succeed.

Lots of truth in this post, Doc.

Last night I had 3 “water beers” and I slept like a fat baby. Woke up feeling like a super star and got a workout in this morning.

Do I get a Blue Chip yet?

Ever since most of my emotions went away in 2017, I really have no urge to drink. I think a few years ago, I might have gotten inebriated.

Once in a while the gf gets me to try a glass of something she brings, but that’s about it.

Not giving a f~~~ kind of removes most incentive to drink

Why do you have a gf?

#1) I have a gf because April of last year I dumped the Asian gf after she s~~~-tested me, and kept the other gf. 2 gf’s were bound to meet eventually and create havoc, so I acted first.

#2) I get pussy enough to satisfy my limited (compared to 2 years ago) sex drive.

#3) She has more desire for sex than I do, and she is still in her “ideation phase” where I can do no wrong, and its fun to watch her run her paces.

#4) She has her own place 45 minutes down the road, and her own job that she likes.

#5) I save money going 50/50 on vacations. We’ve done Boston last year (I donned the camo stuff at certain spots and brought my Fallout 4 Minutemen flag and did photos) and two beach vacations.

#6) She understands my objection to marriage, or at least understands I will never do it again.

#7) We’ve been together for over a year, and no permanent toothbrush at my house.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

You remind me of the song “You Ain’t much fun since I quit drinkin'”. So, if I come up there to visit, should we meet at a Starbucks instead?
