What now…where do I find purpose?!

You are going to get a lot of answers.  I will give you my opinions/observations.

1)  Don’t listen to those who tell you to “make your own purpose”.  If you do you will be following a herd mentality and fall off the mgtow path.  You cannot make your own purpose if someone tell’s you to make your own purpose and you listen to them.  Besides, most men do not even know what purpose is.  Do you?

2)  Watch who you get your advice from.  Who you get your advice from is most likely who you will become like.

3)  Know one knows what they are talking about half the time in regards to life.  The majority end up chasing things (money, women, etc.) and end up acting like a dog chasing its own tale.

4) Purpose is overrated.  Watch a person who believes to have a “purpose” and I’ll show you a man who works himself to death or f~~~s up everyone else’s life.  The quest for purpose has caused more suffering in most people than happiness.

5) Mid-life crisis’s are proof that our elder’s don’t have a clue what they are doing with their own lives.  Why should we trust their advice?

6) Understand the nature of things you are dealing with first.  Look for wisdom at all costs.  Observe what you can.

7) Look at the buildings and all the wonderous things we have created.  Understand the tremendous sacrifice required to build these things.  The blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights, months/years away from home.  Now understand that the men who built them are dead and forgotten, the buildings are covered in pigeon s~~~, and eventually they will crumble to dust.  These men worked hard and suffered to create these things.  They dedicated their lives to it.  Look at the evidence of their accomplishments.  Which brings me to my second sub-point.

8) Most men’s purpose in this life are to exalt themselves.  Ironically for all our glory we die like any animal.  Dust is still dust, it doesn’t matter how you shape it.

9)  Don’t be too good and destroy yourself.

10)  Don’t be wicked and destroy yourself.

11)  At the end of the day a man finds a 1000 different ways to waste his time.  Noone knows what they are doing or really the reason why they do it.  Don’t believe me?  Simply ask a man why he acts or thinks a certain way.  When he explains it, ask him again.  Do it again.  Then again.  After the second or third time he won’t know why.

The only piece of advice I have to offer is not to waste your time on this question.  I have just like you.  I have seen a lot do this just like you.  You are wasting your time.  The quest for purpose is a trap.  Animals don’t look for purpose and look how free they are.  The birds sing all the time.  The lion dominates his pray.  The sheep lay comfortably and peacefully in the field.  They don’t worry about purpose and they live more than the man who does.  And these are just animals.

Imagine the man who doesn’t worry about such things.

Without men there would be no homes, power, music or commerce. Life as we know it would not exist, so whatever you choose to do just remember that even as a novice you will have the capacity to do ‘it’ better then 50% of the planets occupancy and will eventually, through rational thinking alone, achieve success. And on the flip side if you decide to do sod all, then that’s ok too as many many many men have died before you would have liked to do exactly that.

I once heard a saying offered as advice for someone looking for a career but didn’t know what to do with himself, the advice was ‘pick one of your hobbies or interests and excel at it’. If your going spend the next 50 years of your life working then do something that puts a smile on your mush and money in your bank account, just don’t give any away to a black hole hearted woman.
