My 18th birthday is approaching (January 13th), and I have very little personal experience with womens predatory behavior, I have completely avoided the sting of the Wasp. I know I will die at peace a proud MGTOW man, but with me being so young what in the hell do I do until then !!! Most of a mans life is spent chasing ass, and kissing it, but for someone that knows the truth where do we find purpose?! Even brain dead matriarchy males (the feminist zombie) are given the illusion they’re living for something, but I want to truly have a purpose in life, and a reason to wake up everyday. Should I just work to fund my personal ambitions (which will be easy to do without a woman, or children)?! My fellow MGTOW brothers…i’m truly lost I know only temporary happiness can be obtained with a woman, and that true happiness is out there, but where how do I find it?!
It’s like a master, and slave you’ve been a slave for so long guided by your master (the system) that now when you’re free you have no idea what to do !
We make our own purpose in life brother. You’ve already adopted the idea that you’re going to live free of chains so all that remains is for you to find your passion in life and run towards it. Set a goal and day by day carve out a path towards it. It’s the most primitive and yet most fulfilling way for a human being, or shoud I say a human male to live.
What are your hobbies/interests? These are a good place to start in figuring out what you want to do and setting yourself that challenge to overcome.
As Tennyson said ‘ To seek, to strive, to find and not to yield.’
Thanks Ishmael ! I do have a few things i’m interested in such as trains, model air planes, and don’t judge me on this last one…but I enjoy building Lego structures it makes for good brain training xD !
Anonymous5Nice to meet you, OldAtHeart – Lego is awesome! I’d advise to try and better yourself, accumulate wealth & knowledge because both will allow you the resources to do whatever you want. The more money you have, the more you can do with it and the more knowledge you have, the less you need to rely on anybody else.
Brother Old at Heart:
Here’s a Checklist to discover your Life’s Purpose….Outside of Getting Caught Up in the Hypergamic, Hypermaterialistic Pussy Market Place:
(1) Embark on your Own Journey to Self-Discovery. Say NO to Chasing Bitches and YES to Chasing your Own Tail. Leave them Bitches to their own Devices. Go ahead and scratch Yourself! Smell your own Ass. Lick your Own b~~~~. Woof-Woof!
In All seriousness…Learn what makes you Bark.
(2) What are your unique talents and abilities? The stuff you can do that most Muthaf~~~as can’t possibly do or do as well as you? You like playing Guitar in Middle Eastern quarter-tones? Painting? Welding S~~~? Lego??? Cool Shiet!
(3) Do that Shiet! Making Lego Furniture and Art for middle-income homes? Making model airplanes you can actually fly?
Do that Shiet!
(4) Try ‘Bat Crazy’ Shiet to see if you like it. Does it make your Inner Dick hard (i.e. your Pineal Gland)? Go find your passion in something unfamiliar and unusual.
(5) Get involve in Causes you think you believe in. Want to save Street Dogs from being murdered in Brazil? Do that Shiet!
Hopes that Helps. Journey My Brother!
Don’t worry about laying out your entire future at this point. Perspectives change and you will find your right path as long as you do what you want to do. That’s the key here – being almost 18 and knowing what you know, you’re free to do whatever you want! You have wisdom beyond your years and should consider yourself very fortunate.
This is not so much a MGTOW problem and more of just a being 18 problem. Hardly anyone knows what they truly want out of life at 18. It will take a few years out in the world to figure out what your calling in life is and what will make you happy. Being a MGTOW will actually help you out a lot in doing this! You might be able to figure out what you want from life a lot quicker than most people your age because you will be completely focused on what makes you happy instead of bending yourself to fit what society wants. I wouldnt stress out over this too much, its just a normal part of life. Just enjoy being young and eventually you will figure out what path you should take.
“Who am I and why am I here?” is not just a question of age, it’s THE question of the ages. Most people “answer” that question by joining churches, buying useless crap, jumping from relationship to relationship, basking in drama or chasing some form of Holy Grail or another… never figuring out who they truly are and what they really care about.
The bottom line is you don’t FIND purpose… you MAKE it.
Creating purpose and meaning in your life is, well, a life-long pursuit. The difference with MGTOW is that we don’t allow ourselves to be bound by what OTHER people say we should do to make our lives meaningful but rather by what we decide will make them meaningful. Figuring that out is what makes life enjoyable for us… the challenge of climbing Mazlow’s Hierarchy of Needs from basic sustenance to security, accepting ourselves and being accepted by others, finding our inner power and, ultimately, activating our full potential… once you brush the bulls~~~ aside, it actually becomes possible… but it’s up to you to make it happen.
Research and try new things, see what you like and what you’re good at, put some hours into developing your skill and experience and have fun… and don’t worry about where you’re going too much… just keep your bills paid and the dirt off your shoulders and you’ll be fine.
Thanks everyone you all have been a huge help, and Ninja energetic as usual lightens up the mood xD now i’m visualizing Lego Sofa’s, and planes with dogs flying them 😛 !
I’ll just start by saying that I wished I knew what you already do when I was 18. All I did was chase ass…and there was a lot more chasing going on than catching! What a waste. Just by you asking what to do with your life outside of women takes you a million mile ahead. There are a lot of good answers to that difficult question on this page. Here is how I see it…
Firstly, I want to take issue with your own question…”Should I just work to fund my personal ambitions…?” I would recommend that you redefine the word work. If you work a job here and a job there, you won’t know s~~~ in 20 or 30 years and you’ll watch the clock all day long. Being a “jack-of-all and master-of-none is a hard life. So specialize and choose something hard. Imagine if you leaned how to work on space shuttle rockets. In 20 or 30 years, YOU would be THE GUY. If you choose a profession wisely you may find out that you don’t simply “go to work” but instead, you’ll leave the house because it’s important to you to know that the mission is right. ‘Important to you’ is where the purpose is to be found.
Also, if you want to go deeper down the rabbit hole, read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The book is ALL about purpose and what happens to people in life who have a purpose and what happens to people in life that don’t.
Keep in mind that being aware of how women can be doesn’t necessarily bar you from enjoying their womanly pleasures so to speak. Theres a huge difference between partaking in something and letting it consume your life and motivations. It would be sad for an 18 year old to not “bag a few hoes” in modern parlance, don’t look at it as you have no purpose. Its not like your genitals stop functioning the moment you find out women’s true nature.
I think it’s great that an 18 year old can make such a posting. You sir are already well ahead of the pack – I wish I’d known at 18 what you already know.
One piece of advice I would give is be careful with money. Learn to live within your means and realise that to live frugally is to live freely. One of the biggest traps of modern society is the work-consume-borrow treadmill.
I’d also second other posters saying MGTOW doesn’t mean you avoid women like some sort of medieval monk. It just means you realise that the bait of sex nearly always has a very sharp hook hidden in it. The fish that lives the longest is the one that learns to get the bait but avoid the hook.
Find what YOU like, and what makes YOU happy. You’re at a great age Bud, I honestly wish I knew what I know now when I was 18. Start a business, make some cash, put it away, travel the world, find something new and fun to do. The world is Yours Bro, just grab it.
Don’t waste it on chasin’ tale or f~~~ing around with Women, or trying to figure them out. It’s a complete waste of fricken time.

Lmfao! Ninja i’m so stealing that photo 😛
First post here, and I hate the fact that it’s negative, but..
I read your profile, you’re trying to figure out life and you’ve already enlisted? Don’t get me wrong, if you have absolutely nothing else going it’s something to do… But be prepared for 4 or more years of being treated like a 3rd grader, playing stupid f~~~ing games and generally hating life.
Your call, I would advise against it unless you have absolutely no other prospects or direction.

Well for me, i’m striving to be Dictator HotNoob of the planet Earth! 😛
How did i come to this conclusion? Simple.
If there is no after life, than what is the purpose of life?
Well, there is no purpose! So what is it that people try to do all of their lives?
SURVIVE!But is it enough to survive for a life time? OR eternity?
Therefore i strive to have such a positive effect on the world, that i am remembered for being as someone such as Einstein.
As delusional as it sounds, it keeps me going 😛
My Goal: To Leave Society.
The purpose of life is to make your own purpose.
Anonymous0Just because we’re men, and lego furniture and s~~~ was brought up…here’s a little gem from James May (ala Top Gear):
One piece of advice I would give is be careful with money. Learn to live within your means and realize that to live frugally is to live freely. One of the biggest traps of modern society is the work-consume-borrow treadmill.
Just posting this again from In Which We Serve . This is some seriously good advice. One of the traps that I see young people falling into are poor money skills. If you mismanage your finances and credit this early in life it will be a huge handicap for you later in life. Learn the terminology of the business and financial world.
Do you know what APR is and how it affects you? how does a loan from a fiance company work as opposed to a bank? What are the 3 companies that track your credit score? What is a credit score and how does it effect the interest on your loans? How do mortgages work? What does refinancing mean? What are the difference between a fixed rate loan and a variable rate? What are the differences between 30 year loan and a 20 year loan? What about compounding interest? Do you know how minimum payments work and why they are so bad for you? What is the difference between a Roth IRA and an IRA? What is a IRA and how does it differ from a 401K? What is inflation and how does it affect my retirement?
This is just the tip of the iceberg. But if you do not know the in-depth answers to these questions then you have your first goal.
Since you are going to enlist you have additional pitfalls as well. Mind you I am not in or have ever been in the armed force but I have several friends who have been and this is what they tell me about the financial pitfalls young enlistees face.
Everyone is out to screw you out of you money. Period. Every realtor, car sales man, loan officer, investors, creditors, and woman. Everyone will assume you are a barely functional retard and try to fleece every cent they can from you. So what can you do?
Well I described the best method above. Get money smart and never lag behind in your knowledge. Remember a knowledgeable person is harder to take advantage of then a ignorant person. There is a limitless resource to get educated from and your are currently using it.
That is an immediate goal that you can strive for and get instant and tangle results from. As for something more long term. Needless to say that is an incredibly loaded and nigh impossible question to answer with any certainty. I truly wish I could give a simple answer but that is beyond my knowledge. The advice about following your passions and interests are great. What ever you choose give it your everything. And even if takes you awhile to find it remember that it is never to late to work for it. I did not have a concrete answer to the question your asking till I was 28 years old. Once I found my path I worked like I was a man possessed.
Just remember to live for yourself, take care of yourself and most importantly love yourself.
