I seriously wish I had a time machine to go back and slap myself some sense.  All that money I spent taking ladies out just to please them was a big joke.  All but one of them don’t communicate with me anymore, and are with men either far richer, more educated, or twice the age of myself (not a knock on the men older than me at all, it just put me at a disadvantage).  I’d be cruising in my 2005 Thunderbird rather than my 1994 I’m in now.  Oh well, saving for one now.  Better late than never!

I wouldn’t mind it so much if it counted to them as an “investment”. Because that’s what it is. You’re “investing” in your social life and you’re having fun too. But the ungrateful c~~~ who opened a birthday gift from me which was a nice robe she wanted, before she said “thank you” – even before se said “thank you” – she had a problem with the fabric.

Would rather throw money into the street and watch some kids play with it.

    Dating is entertainment. Expensive entertainment.

If you don’t like the process or suck at it – it’s not worth it.

Do you think it’s better here in Canada?  Some wag once said that the problem with elections is that one of the candidates is going to win……

Dating?  A complete waste.  For the money I spent on it, I could have bought a lot of pizza and beer and at least enjoyed myself.

Oh, I know where you’re coming from, MG-Tower. Now that reminds me of the slight sarcastic twist I once turned Humphrey Bogart’s famous “romantic” line from Casablanca, the original being something along the lines of “I look into your eyes, sweetheart…” into the more modern updated phrase like “Oh, ok go on then, just give us a great slap right into my face cameltoe / c~~~ will ya..?”

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

    Quarter Wave Vertical,

No, Canada is no better, our Politicians just don’t seem to screw things up with all the pomp and fanfare that the American ones do is all.

Quarter Wave Vertical, No, Canada is no better, our Politicians just don’t seem to screw things up with all the pomp and fanfare that the American ones do is all.

I will give some Canadians credit, however, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. What countries border yours? … A country that spends roughly 1/3 of Canada’s ENTIRE GDP on defense, which is FAR MORE than any other country in the world.  That’s it.

So, if you collapse as a society within your super bubble, then really there’s no hope for the rest of us.

Hillary will only accelerate the decline of America, and accelerate the causes of MGTOW.

Any time I want to see white western women entitlement at an all time high, I look at Canada, which also not surprisingly has the highest concentration of MGTOW.

It’ll take the U.S a few years to catch up, but Canada is the canary.

On the other hand, we do have all those Economic Action Plan ads (which we’re paying for with our taxes) and finding what happened to Sir John Franklin was a matter of national policy.

However, when our politicians make a mess of things, they make sure it’s devastating.  Remember the Avro Arrow and the HMCS Bras d’Or?

    @ Exsliventxs

I don’t disagree with anything you said. My joke about Hillary was exactly that…she will facilitate the decline of America faster. But as MGTOW, isn’t this exactly what we want? So, as American MGTOW,  I’d personally recommend you all get out and vote for her if she runs for president…any other puppet will just prolong the agony….so what’s the point?

    @QuarterWave

Our politicians do quite frequently make a mess of things…i just meant they don’t do it with the same flare our American counterparts seem to….then again, we don’t have 4-5 major media outlets covering these things 24/7 like the Americans do either. But I think that is in part because Canadians are still fairly apathetic towards these things…sure, we’ll get p~~~ed and even protest from time to time…but we all know once Saturday night rolls around it’s time for a case of beer and the hockey game…..which reminds me….it’s almost game time!

Strange how this thread changes topic from dating to politics.

To stay on topic, dating for me is a waste of time and effort. We don’t need to experience any more horror stories about women on dates, do we? And we don’t need another boy/girl debate on who has to pick up the check on a date.

The last time I dated, I didn’t pick up the check, and neither did she. We had dinner at my house. I am an excellent cook and grilled up some steak and eggs for us. And women are suckers for “Phantom of the Opera”, so we watched that movie. Of course, a couple of dates later, she decided that we should be “just friends” and I never heard from her again.

A waste of time? Perhaps, but at least it was all spent at my house instead of pouring out money at some stupid social activity. I prefer to be at my house anyway. A waste of money? Not exactly. I used food that was already in my fridge awaiting consumption. But the whole idea of dating just so I can meet the approval of some woman? A big fat F~~~ING waste of time indeed!

Maybe that was why she got fed up with dating me. Because I wasn’t taking her to some fancy restaurant and paying top dollar for the same dishes that I can cook for free, and which only cost me a few bucks to acquire at the local grocery store. Why should I pay thirty to fifty dollars for food that someone else is cooking when I can do it myself just as good or even better? Because MONEY impresses women, and I didn’t drop a goddamn dime on this particular woman, so I obviously gave off the impression that I’m a cheap-ass. And we were seeing MY movies for FREE instead of paying 30 dollars for tickets and overpriced movie theater snacks/refreshments just to see a movie that I would see on Netflix a month later.

Dating is something done to impress women, and as MGTOW, we don’t need to impress them anymore. Leave that to the overabundance of white knights/manginas that would spend 500 dollars on them in a second if it meant that they were getting laid for their efforts.

I bought a girlfriend an iPod once – back when I couldn’t really afford it and they were $650 for the best one. You know what she said when she opened it? “if it has a plug, it’s not a gift”. She was hoping for diamond earrings or some s~~~.

I have had friends tell me the very same thing. When they got their girlfriend a “practical gift”, they were upset about it. “That is not a romantic gift!” is what they would say.

Women are not practical or logical creatures so it makes sense.

Women are parasites. Each and every last one of them.

Steve Martin, “I just want to meet a girl with a head on her shoulders……..I hate necks. That way, when we go to a fancy restaurant,  and I walk in with her,  every head turns,    except her’s, she has no neck,  ha”

The whole modern dating ritual reminds me of some wildlife documentaries I saw at one time.  In it, the selection of mates by prairie chickens was shown.  The candidate males go through a whole process of dancing in order to impress one of the hens.  Some of those dances are quite elaborate and, for the most part, the females act indifferent.

However, when one of them strikes a hen’s fancy, I think there’s a corresponding response.  After all the fun and games are over, the couples go off and start making youngsters.  I don’t recall what happens when any of the males is out of luck.  Presumably, he takes off in a prairie chicken’s equivalent of frustration and disappointment at not being able to pass on his genes.

Dating in our society is like that, it seems.  We poor suckers have to put on a good show for the ladies who, in turn, look us over and decide whether it’s thumbs up or thumbs down.  In the end, it may not work out well for everyone.

There is a great book on human animal and its dating rituals called “The Red Queen” – it’s very MGTOWish and eye-opening. Highly recommend! You can download the audio book off torrents for free if you know how. The book is amazing

Not interested in dating or sex period. Why would I want to date women? All I want is sex, and 80% of females are STD infected. Therefore sex has no value to me…

Wish I could give you better info…

Dating as a concept and more importantly as a co-conspiracy between two mutually deceptive parties attempting to work an angle on a better deal aka the relationship is for chumps.

If a slut wants to keep multiple betas on hold, make them take her to dinner, text back over 50 times a day and serve a purpose of being an accessory to her warped and twisted life. . . . . . then great.

I’ll wait for the text from her after her ‘date’ at about 10:40pm from her that says ‘Are you still awake?’ and respond with ‘Yeah, get over here so we can f~~~.’

And continue to let the oblivious and confused betas try to figure out how the world works and eventually find their way to MGTOW.
