I originally came in here to talk guns n ammo, don’t get to have that talk all that much…I only shot off my mouth to be in defense of a cared for brother…But if this indeed an impostor, I cannot feel comfortable talking about guns or ammo…Feels all shady now…I have often wondered how many government trolls that may have infiltrated our rank and file…And I am not being crazy either…That said, cannot feel comfortable talking about any weapons…This whole thing feels shady now….

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....
I did enjoy the “favorite bullet” thread.
Social engineering is what you’re feeling.
If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.
Anonymous54This started on an earlie thread with some includeing KM doubting this is a male.
On the next thread he says his gun shoots like a kitten. What conclusion would you come too?
What ever. Im just glad every one is pro gun.
See I told you nothing less than I picture of my junk would satisfy you.

And now I can’t use the word manners. good grief.
the 10/22 is a classic, good choiceFrom the desk of Lord Ingtar Shinowa
Your still a female.
I respect Sage’s opinion and that of FrostByte but I’m curious what objective fact is being relied upon to come to this conclusion?
thanks Pete, have you shot any bullpups?
I have and I don’t like them. I like the ammo in front of my eye, not behind. Besides I’m an old fuddy duddy when it comes to new stuff. I don’t even like plastic of any kind on a firearm. I do have a couple of plastic stocks for a 10/22 and an SKS but I don’t like them as well as wood. Yes the bullpup is lighter, shorter, easier to carry and I suspect that if equipped with case-less ammo it is even more convenient. At my age artistry trumps convenience.
My favorite thing about the Bullpup namely the RFB is that I can get a 18-inch barrel 308 Winchester in just 26 inches of overall length

Anonymous54I dont need to win.
Why do you say female things.
My gun shoots like a kitten. You new we were haveing doubts. Little clues stick in my craw.
By the way, if we raced I would beat you. Ill race you clean, but you will not win. I will win.
I appreciate that you have more experience motorcycle racing than I do. I have never driven my motorcycle fast as it barely works right now and I am trying to restore it. If you want I will send you a picture of it torn apart in my garage

More threats of junk pics! Hahah
Haha I’m serious. I’ll post a picture of it if you are actually interested in having an adult conversation. I could actually use help on a certain problem I’m having with it.

Precisely my point. With 18 inches of barrel you lose accuracy and velocity. I’m not familiar with the barrel twist rate for a bullpup but you can’t cram much twist in 18 inchs and you lose velocity. 308 winchester is a powerful round but—long range targets are out. My Schmidt(s) fire a 7.5 x 55 which is basically 308, when I reload I use 308 bullets but I also have a long barrel–28 inches and a rifling twist of about 10.5. So with a light bullet say 110 grain I can easily get over 3200 FPS—I like long range accuracy. (That is with a slower burning powder than the factor winchester loads.
I think a bullpup as a design might be better suited to short range situations needing a high volumn of fire—but in that case 308 seems like the wrong caliber
Anonymous54If there is doublt your a guy, why would you say my gun shoots like a kitten on your next post. Sorry I cant get past that.
I dont make the call on these things. Dont worry what I think.
It’s minute of man two eight hundred yards which is plenty for me because if I want to do any long-range shooting I have a Ruger RPR in 308 with a 21 inch barrel that is accurate up to 1,200 yards unfortunately I don’t have the glass yet to put on that one

Now I’m curious about your rifle. What model is it? I was under the impression that Ruger’s bullpup was a pistol chambered for .22 I then consulted the following list:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bullpup_firearms and I don’t see Ruger on there.
As A gunsmith I’m always looking to learn something new. I even looked in the Gun Digest book of modern Gun values and there is no bullpup listed for Ruger. So I called a fellow gunsmith and he has never heard of a Ruger Bullpup at all. So let me in on the secret.
that’s just a little confusion. My bullpup is the Kel Tec RifleForwardejectingBullpup.
my long range rifle is Rugers new Ruger Precision Rifle.
I have a vortex 3x acog on the RFB and I need some good glass for the precision rifleFrom the desk of Lord Ingtar Shinowa
OK thank you that does clear it up it was a typo–the Ruger perscison rifle is is the .308, the RFB is the kel-tec.
WOW you spent some $$$ on that Ruger. IT is effective out to 1200 yards BUT http://www.wideopenspaces.com/swiss-k31-shooter-makes-world-record-2240-yard-shot-video/
Not especially I pre-ordered it at a special event at the gun store and it only cost me $1,000. So full blown it actually was more cost-effective than getting a 700 Remington accurizing it

No. When I was writing my post on the “favorite bullet” thread, I was remembering the pull of the trigger and the recoil as I fired my own gun in a pistol range, along with the peaceful zen like experience that target shooting brings to me.
You do not get that from social engineering.
Also, I misunderstood the original question. I thought “rifle platform” meant that platform, like a hunting platform. Not that type of rifle. I do know a few things about rifles.
Haha then pleasee tell us about them. What’s your favorite rifle system?
