the NDP won and, worse, Rachel Notley will be premier. If history is anything to go by, Alberta will end up going down the tubes.
I am sorry to hear that. Saskatchewan had decades of the NDP chasing away business and young workers to Alberta. I can empathize with this.
I hope this was just a protest vote against the big Toronto team rolled by Prentice and the secret deal made with Danielle Smith and in four years you will get a party you can be proud of again.
Voidraithe:
I lived in Saskatchewan for 2 years (does that make me a stubble jumper?) and was in Saskatoon when Devine took office. That was because the people got fed up with Blakeney’s boondoggles, such as continually underwriting companies that were financial sinkholes (now, kiddies, can everyone say “Uranium City”?).
To be honest, I had become disenchanted with the PCs because they forgot the ordinary voter. I don’t think it was Prentice who lost the party the election but his predecessor, Queen Alison. The fact that her financial conduct had been investigated and she was let off the hook probably cinched it for the NDP.
Yeah,
Alison was a UN worker drone. She came to Alberta with the expectation she could live on Alberta’s dime like she lived on the UN’s dime. This should tell you something of the rampant entitlement UN officials get.
Voidraithe:
Ah, but it’s money well-invested, isn’t it? It’s all about world peace, right? I’m not optimistic about Notley, either. She’s my MLA and she didn’t do much except send out her regular brochures. The only reason she ever got elected was because her father was leader of the NDP and was well-liked and respected by all parties.
Canadian women got the Tom Leykis Show pulled off of our radio stations in the early 2000’s. Our freedom of speech was violated because of the feminists. http://www.rachelmarsden.com/columns/leykis.html
Our country is loaded with feminists and manginas. I missed out on years of Tom Leykis because of these feminists, years of Tom which could have made a very positive difference in my life….
Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.
BulletDodger:
Rachel Marsden is a nut case. About 20 years ago, she accused her swim coach at Simon Fraser University of improper conduct. The result was that he was suspended, went through an investigation and, maybe, a trial as well. His identity was splashed all over the newspapers, TV, and the Internet.
In the end, the charges against him were dropped as they were found to be groundless and he got his job back. She, as far as I recall, was let off the hook.
Later, she became a commentator on Fox News and showed that she was such a whack job that even Fox started asking questions about whether she was right in the head.
O, Canada……
Canadian women are complete bitches because the Canadian government has replaced fathers as the primary source of funding for producing children. Full stop.
Everywhere around the world, the male-female dynamic depends on how much a female can get in exchange for her birth-provided wealth — the ability to have and control offspring.
In places where there is no welfare, and no government-enforced male paternity duties, women’s control over reproduction is somewhat balanced by the risk of having to raise offspring alone.
In places where offspring are raised/paid for by the state in some way, females are insufferably superior to males BECAUSE MALES HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER. Women get everything they need for child rearing from the state. A father is completely unnecessary.
As a result, unless males come hat-in-hand, pandering and lavishing gifts, then they are utterly disposable. Sure, women will f~~~ the good-looking ones, and then have their kids. But any kind of reciprocity or partnership with such a woman is completely cost-prohibitive to the average male.
Well this thread has been pretty damning to read, I live in England but I’ve really wanted to emigrate to Canada, not sure where to yet, BC or Alberta maybe, but if it’s like you guys are saying then it doesn’t sound like the best of ideas.
England has plenty crazy girls about itself so I hoped Canada would just be on par with that and I could just get on with my life.
What do you guys think? It seems nearly every country worth living in is being feminised.
"You can suffer from a life experience, or you can learn, move on and thrive."Everything:
I’ve lived in Alberta for many years. Don’t move here! The provincial government just became socialist, the beer’s terrible (unless it’s from a local craft brewery or home-brewed, like mine), and the self-entitled land whales move in pods.
Wow, Quarter Wave Vertical, that’s crazy that you dug that up on Rachel. Thanks for the heads up on that!
Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.
Yeah, no s~~~, THAT rachel marsden. I remember all that f~~~ed up story, poor coach that got dragged into that s~~~.
To the guy from the UK- everything…., you really need to shorten that.
Canada is a good country now because of the vast amount of land available and the high standard of living. I dont know your situation, but you can come single or with some kids and they can have a decent standard of living. No, you wont avoid the misandric discrimination, so if you have a boy you will have to work hard to overcome that.
If you are single, you should do well, and be able to retire at at decent age with some property away from major cities but close enough to services. You can then set up your own world- farming, self sufficiency, minimal interference from the outside world. Unlike the UK where you cant scratch your ass without bumping into someone. So same feminized bulls~~~, just more room to move around.
BulletDodger:
You’re welcome. The Marsden incident was one of several that were going on in Canada at the time. Hers was one that got a lot of publicity.
Jack Reacher:
One of Canada’s biggest problems is that it’s lost its spine, something which started here nearly 50 years ago. (Thank you, Pierre Trudeau.)
Hockey is the state religion, while political correctness is a close second. One can’t express a legitimate opinion about anything any more without someone becoming offended and threatening retribution. Most males have become whiny manginas, something which I saw a lot of that while I was teaching. Worse is that the business of running the country is being increasingly handed over to women, the latest example being the election of Rachel Notley as premier of Alberta a few days ago.
It’s not a fun place to live in any more, but I don’t know where else to go.

I can’t up vote this comment enough. I am gearing up to buy 160 acres in northern B.C. To me that or north of the 60th are the only options anymore to get away from the mooching masses. However sooner or later, the loonie left will make that an impossibility as well. I think it is just going to get harder to sell here quick enough before the crash hits.
There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
Hey Keymaster. You are so right about Toronto. I live in Toronto and I got a vasectomy. I said screw this and I’m going to protect myself. The things these women do to men it’s not worth being involved. Case and point. I can’t post it here but I have a friend who is married with 3 kids. All of them are boys. The first 2 look like him. The last one looks totally different. And for my friend, he’s not the smartest tool in the shed. I don’t mean to knock him but he had learning issues in school when growing up. He was also hyper and because of that they put him in a special school. I haven’t talked to him about this because he doesn’t live in Toronto anymore. He moved to Hamilton, Ontario. I know one day this will come out one way or another.
I’m considering learning japanese and go to japan and never come back. Does anyone know about a western country where men really can go their own way without the laws and feminazis forcing us to be a wallet and c~~~ to exploit?
Be careful with that.
In japan you will date and f~~~ like crazy, but be warned japanese women have their share of problems too. In fact they’re notorious for scaring the dudes so much that they prefer o stay out and drink.
– Japanese women control the household and the money. It’s also true for most asian women. However they’re not as crazy as american women buying SUV’s when they’re broke.
– Japanese women are maniacs. Everythingt is like a ritual. It’s crazy how you can f~~~ her brains out doing the craziest s~~~ but somehow she’s leading you and controls every part of it. More generally japanese people are taught to do and act according to a lot of rules and aren’t very flexible, natural, or cool. Sometimes it’s like talking to a root they just don’t understand they look at you with bland eyes like a “404 error”
– Japanese people are creatures of habit. Sexually they don’t do EVERY crazy s~~~, they tend to be fetishists, have their ONE crazy habit and stick with what they know.
– Japanese women are jealous. Very, In Japan people don’t f~~~ that much except bar girls from roppongi, and more often than not a japanese women didn’t have a boyfriend in years. Things can get ugly quickly, in fact all the japanese girlfriends i had had jealousy issues and i had to end things because they showed their true colors too soon and in a very obvious manner.
You’ve been warned. Japan’s defaults are very hard to see at first but they’re almost as big as its qualities. I say go there it’s definitely better than the mess our countries have become, but still…
True that. And you didn’t even mention how the wall is so much higher and sharply defined for Japanese women than women in the west. They get crazier and crazier as the 30 year mark approaches. Now maybe in the past few years since the last time I was there they’ve learned some acceptance from the prevalence of herbivore men, but I doubt it. And Japanese spinsters usually don’t have the real estate to drown their sorrows in cats like washed up western women do, so look out.
Sorry gentlemen, but there truly is no promised land of NAWALTS. All women really are like that the whole world over, but just like with food, each country has its own distinctive flavor of AWALT.
Grumpy:
You might want to reconsider northern B. C. I grew up there and, while there are areas where there are hardly any people, the towns I was at were filled with dim-bulb land whales.
The whole purpose is to get away from people. I have special hats with antlers for the land whales.
Honest officer.. it looked like a MOOSE

Everything:
I’ve lived in Alberta for many years. Don’t move here! The provincial government just became socialist, the beer’s terrible (unless it’s from a local craft brewery or home-brewed, like mine), and the self-entitled land whales move in pods.
That sucks, Alberta has such nice countryside, is the socialist government not regularly in power then?
I also stick to craft ale myself so as long as there’s good options then I’ll be happy. Shame Belgian beer will be something that won’t be common.

🙁 I like my name!
I’m single with no children, I was hoping to kick start a career then when I’m in the position to, head over to Canada to leave the sinking ship of England.
