I’ve been reading Atlas Shrugged for a few months. This book has so many pages…I think I’ll be done with it by spring. I read when I’m standing in line at the bank or grocery store.

The books I’ve enjoyed reading during my life:

    Oliver Twist
    The Grapes of Wrath
The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter
    The Poisonwood Bible

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I could write that book. It would consist of one page, saying; “First, open the book. Second, read the words….” There.

@kingofthesea. Since you are interested in IQ tests, I’d like to recommend Stephen Jay Gould’s, “Broca’s Brain.” I read it years ago and enjoyed it very much.

I love HP Lovecraft! I’m currently reading a military history novel called “The Final Collapse” about the fall of Viet Nam.
