ASSPOWALT  = A  substantially significant percentage of women are like that.

A large enough percentage to justify being suspicious of them all.

Learned early enough this could be invaluable to younger mgtow.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Hard headed stubborn ass that I am,
It’s difficult for me to come up with much that I learned on my own. The most useful things that I know were essentially handed to me as gifts from older, wiser people. One that I refer back to most often is from my father. He was a deeply religious (old school Catholic) person, but very quiet about it. His beliefs were hard core, old school and unshakable, but it took significant determination to get him to talk about them. Quiet as he was, this was a guy who, as an old man, still prayed in Latin.

In the midst of a discussion with him about religion wherein I was admitting that though I believed in God, I acknowledged that I probably didn’t have much faith in the specific details of any religion (eating pork or not, eating meat on Fridays, etc). I was kind of apologizing to him for not having, or even aspiring to have the detailed faith that he had. He thought for a minute as though considering different possible options for answers to this. Finally he said, “Son, the only thing you really need to know about God is that there IS one, and it’s NOT you…”.

At first, it seemed a little like a joke, but he wasn’t smiling. I thought about it and slowly came to realize what this really meant. It meant that I can’t take credit for my own creation, and so owe some acknowledgement and gratitude for it to something outside myself. It meant that I don’t always get my way… that there are more important things going on in the universe than just what I happen to want at any given point in time… that I’m accountable to something outside myself… that I’m not responsible for fixing all the world’s problems or correcting all of its faults… that I always have back up… that in the overall scheme of things, my ego shouldn’t be the biggest driving force in my decisions…

Depending on a person’s attitude/mood at any point in time, that statement could probably be adapted to a variety of different things.

I never did get to be what I refer to as a religious person, but I refer back to this simple statement frequently… usually when I’m not getting my way about something. Corny as it sounds, I have found it useful in other situations as well.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

LOL@ Harpomason. The man has done his homework!

“ASSPOWALT”. I’ve never seen it used by anyone in a sentence before.

    Truly laughing out loud.

Being a union guy: A cheap job isn’t good and a good job isn’t cheap.

When building a car: FAST, CHEAP, or RELIABLE pick two and deal with it!

Read this from someone’s else sig: “If misery loves company, then happiness must be bachelorhood.”

Never make permanent decisions from temporary feelings.

$$$ can’t buy manners, morals, or intelligence. (in most situations)

    1. Everything I ever needed to know about life I learned by watching Three Stooges episodes.

    2. Self Discipline [sic].

    3. To smile at everyone, be courteous, be calm, be reasonable, be witty, be polite, be generous, and be prepared to kill everyone I meet. The one that takes me out will be the one I least expect, in a place I least expect her to, at a time I don’t expect. If I could wear my Glock while copulating I would…in fact, on several occasions in the past, I’ve done exactly that.

    Good lesson

I like also, the way you remember in such detail. Your approaching apologetically, his not smiling and praying in latin. these details make it as though I was learning this lesson first hand. Then topping it off by explaining everything you extracted from the few words he said.  Thumbs up!

Money will f~~~ with any relationship, personal or professional. Do not get involved with friends or family over issues where money will motivate them to f~~~ you over. I made this mistake and ended up having to file bankruptcy for it. Thankfully in a couple more years it will be completely off my records.

And mind you this was involving another guy in a business venture.

The potential to acquire wealth will reveal a person’s dark side more often than not.

    Trust no one, especially women/government.

Give them an inch, and they will take a mile (and charge you extra for it).

Keep your mouth shut, and your eyes open, and just do your damn job!

Neither a borrower, nor a lender be. Drink from your own well.

There were no “good old days”.

    The cake is a lie.

If it has t~~~ or tires, it’s gonna give you trouble.

What they do with you, they will do to you.

Fun is fun, and done is done!

One of the best things I have learned in life is this:  IT’S FUNNY BECAUSE IT’S TRUE –

Swallow this RED PILL ===> Men will lay down their lives for their brothers, their women and their children. This makes Men useful as slaves. Women will lay down their lives for ONLY their children. To expect more from women is just a FANTASY created by society and reinforced by the unconditional love that we experienced from our Mothers. The key to freedom is the understanding that the woman you meet is not going to fantastically love you like your Mother did. If you buy into the fantasy, then she is your new master. If you do not buy into the fantasy, then she is nothing, and you retain your freedom.

You can’t change the world. You can only change yourself.

Don’t do anything for free. Don’t donate your time/money. You will not get anything in return except maybe a pat on the back and a “Thank You”. But whenever you are strapped for cash or need help, no one will help you. Don’t be a sucker that gets used. Don’t even give someone a smoke. Not even a couple drinks. No one ever returns the favor. I used to give out so much too friends because I was nice. Did anyone do the same for me? Nope. So I stopped doing that. That was one of the mistakes I made in life. I probably wasted $1000+ over the years on people. Sure, it could be a lot worse, but man, having that extra $1000 would be nice. Oh well.

Debt to the government, financial institutions, etc., is a form of slavery. Live within your means and stay out of debt as much as possible.

The most important thing I learned is to stand your ground, I don’t know weather it’s something inside you, or something you learn. I’m not talking about the physical world, but rather the world of darkness and light; never surrender your heart felt truths, forsaking them for comfort and approval. Seek no one’s approval, just their advice.

Listen to your gut feelings, something tells you “turn left”, immediately “turn left”; never question your instincts, rather hone in on them, always maintain alertness when confronted by controversy, allow no room for a lie to settle in your heart , or shamming of your individual person (YOU) FTW!

The truth can not be extracted by a lie; unless you’re willing to live a lie, feeding the vanity, and being accepted in a room full of liars.

I live life on my own terms! <left middle finger held high to feminism> <right middle finger held high to tyranny>

That almost everything in life is a double-edged sword.

Almost everyone claims that “my life would be great if I had _____”. Fill in the blank with {women, money, popularity, my dream job, a perfect body, some personal achievement, etc.}. In reality, whatever it is, if you get it, there will be some kind of price to be paid, such that you will ultimately not be much better off than if you hadn’t gotten what you wanted, and will probably be worse.

Usually, the converse is true as well. Most “bad” things that happen have a silver lining, and lead to some kind of improvement that causes life afterward to be better than if the seemingly bad thing hadn’t happened.

I learned that every moment of life is amazing.

I learned that I live in very best part of an interesting science fiction movie

I learned that there is no black or white. there are no absolutes

I learned that the more we describe something – the more we reduce the meaning of it

    I learned to never quit.
I learned to never accept defeat.
I learned that failure is not an option.
I learned to be physically and mentally strong.
    I learned discipline.
    I learned patience.
I learned that christianity is a false religion.
I learned that no woman is good enough for me to marry.
I learned how to live a double life.
I learned how to go my own way.

I'm married to the game, but she broke her vows.
