    Gentlemen,

For me it is too late, I have already created the next generation. I have twin boys that I have formed a real bond with because of my unusual work schedule. Long story short…….I was taking the blue pills for sure during courtship and first few years of marriage. I have a unique job where I actually like/love what I do…….see avatar. After 9/11 and a layoff from a Major Airline…..wifey says you need to make more money……imagine that! Well, I am a pretty good networker and I found a pretty good corporate flying gig……..more money……loads of time off. Spent more time raising the kids than she did.

Resentment built up……She couldn’t stand that I was making that kind of money and staying home. Perhaps she could not figure out that I am paid for what I know how to do, not how much I do? I started taking the red pills…..(not sure if this is the correct term…..first post and new here) purely to kill the boredom of a dead marriage. I started playing ice hockey again after 30 years off the ice……played in MN, so it came back quickly. Also started fishing……the things I liked to do pre marriage.

Where am I going with this? Well, I am in the midst of a divorce (separated 2 years). Not once did I ask her back……she left, I refused to leave the house I paid for. As you would expect, I have 35% custody……nothing out of the ordinary here. I do feel a responsibility to these boys……if you have not had kids yet, you can’t relate. I shudder at the thought of being an indentured servant……honestly there have been times that I have dreamed about working overseas (with my skill set, that is a reality fyi)……just not to play the “game”. Very hard to walk away though. On a bright note, my boys seem to be forming into MGTOWs!!!! They like watching The Blues Brothers and shooting bb guns and playing hockey! I actually think that boys will eventually choose to be MGTOWS….it is in our nature.

    Brad
