She SHOULD look like a librarian if she’s going to talk to an audience about meteorology. If she’s aspiring to be a TMZ reporter, I’d expect her to wear as little as possible. I actually have more criticism for the news organization for not having a professional dress code. When do you ever see male news reporters showing up to work in tank tops and shorts? We men understand what professional attire means. We come to a professional work environment wearing clothes that make this statement: I want to be taken seriously. No TV station is going to pay any weather reader to sit down and do calcs. If it’s anything like Australia, they will get their info from the Bureau of Meteorology that’s been calculated by some expert with a PhD in Applied Maths.
