Same here. I found MGTOW at 54 and nothing has been the same since. My perspective is 100% better. I live by a whole new set of rules.

Speaking for myself here: over the years I have grown some thick skin against some nasty cases of c~~~s coming in here trying to stir up s~~~ in this place and yes, even attacking me personally outright, but I always kept my wits and reacted accordingly and in the best case calmly.
So no: no fear on my end, on the contrary bring ’em in I am set, hardly anything can shock me any more by now.

Those who are coming here to try (!) and start an in fight sooner later can’t help but expose themselves anyway and should be treated either with ignorance (read: empty chair) and/or sharpened rhetoric.

Because in the end remember: We may be a group of roughly the same interest but in terms of your own responsibility mgtow wise (however you react or respond or whatever you post) it is still “every man for himself” (correct me if I’m wrong).

But that’s just my 2 cents on this…

It is not the shaming that bothers me because shaming is an opportunity for teaching the lurkers.

It’s personal attacks on members be they old or new posters.

It shuts people up and stifles debate.

I like keeping a look out for tuna or rabble rousers but can’t say I have encountered much of any.

This place definitely encourages debate most of the time. A few jokers add a bit of light banter you might say.

I get where you’re coming from Freedom and you make some valid points. I have not read any of the specific incidents you mentioned so I’ll refrain from commenting on them.

As far as the topic in general is concerned I’ve always thought of online forums similar to Speaker’s Corner (like in Hyde Park, London) people are free to speak, discuss and debate, but they had better be prepared to support their claims. I think a free exchange of ideas is paramount, then I get banned, usually, there are few exceptions this site is one and I’m grateful for that. So while I might not agree with everything that people say, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna ask them not to.
