Eve online looks AMAZING
But I don’t think I could play it while working on my dissertation and my full time job at once HAHA!
How many hours a week/month do you commit to it?

Right now 3 to 4 per week. Then again I am a recovering eve-addict. 🙂 The game is like crack. Three to 4 hours keeps the withdrawal symptoms away. 🙂
Here this guy has some videos on it and he is a good commentator.
That was when he started.
Here he is now running his own corporation and making billions of isk.It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
Can vouch for the Souls’ series and Eve online as well.
You don’t need a lot of time to actually play eve, well depends on what’s your current goal, in there, since you can create your goals, yourself. Along with the real time skill training, you can pretty much prepare something, a few weeks in advance, or if you simply don’t have time to play, you can still prepare for that time, which makes it that great. You can start PVP, just a week after, or less, if you want to blow other players up.
Of course, if you want to fly the big ships, it will take exponentially longer, not to fly them, but to fly them properly. If you want to be a Space Wall Street speculator, Jita Trader, you can be that in just a month, and be a Billionaire fast, and in time, a Trillionaire too, lol.
The Demon’s/Dark Souls series, is such a gem though, have played too much of those, in the past, have heard about Dark Souls 3 release is near, and the “itch”, is starting, so much time can be spent in those games, often too much.
Resident Evil. I think you can tell what my top favorite game is based on my screen name and profile picture of the Umbrella Corporation logo.
Back in the 80s and 90s, video games were serious business for me, because I was very competitive against friends and family. I go as far back as the original Super Mario Bros that came with Duck Hunt for the NES.
I downloaded all my cartridge or disc version of games as ROMs, ISOs and emulators to save storage space, boy did I. Now I have my old XP computer hooked up to my 42″ HDTV and use that to play the ROMs and emulators on it. I’ve played PC games on my TV I never saw on my TV, but a monitor.
For the NES I’m into, and still:
Super Mario Bros 3 – regular or alternate hack versions
The Legend of Zelda – Gold version or hack versions
Ninja Turtles I – III
Legend Of Link
Dragon Warrior
Ultima Exodus
Tetris
Dr. Mario
Excite Bike
Gauntlet
Goonies II
Kid Icarus
Metroid
Mega Man I – VI – III was my favorite
PinballFor the Sega Genesis, I still like:
Sonic The Hedgehog 1 – 3 hooked up with Knuckles
Pit Fighter – the arcade and SNES version was better
Ninja Turtles The Hyperstone Heist
Street Fighter II Champion Edition
Mortal Kombat 1, 2
Monopoly – I loved playing this with my dad back in the day.
Taz-Mania
Tom and Jerry Frantic AnticsFor the Super Nintendo, my favorite of the retro systems:
Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time – awesome soundtrack and gameplay
The Legend Of Mystical Ninja
Super Mario All-Stars
Mortal Kombat 1, 2
Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters
Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 – The first was my favorite
Pinball Dreams – I played this during my 7th grade study hall
Pit Fighter – I play as Buzz
WWF Royal RumbleI have other ROMs and emulators from the 80s and 90s, but I never once played them.
For the PlayStation 1, which is my favorite millennium console:
Resident Evil 1 Director’s Cut (non duel shock version), 2, 3: Nemesis and Survivor, and Resident Evil 1.5 (which is 2 beta version)
Tomb Raider I, II: The Dagger of Xian, III, IV: The Last Revelation, and Chronicles. It’s fun being a guy controlling a woman and making her fall of a ledge to her bone-breaking death.
Test Drive 5 – Perfect soundtrack. Give me KMFDM and Gravity Kills
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Final Fantasy VII – Not even close to ever finishing disc 1
Ten Pin Alley – also a good soundtrack
Crash Bandicoot
Fighting Force
Gran TurismoFor the PlayStation 2:
Resident Evil Outbreak, Code: Veronica X, Resident Evil 4
Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness, Legend, Anniversary
Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Deception, Deadly Alliance
Ninja Turtles 2003, Battle Nexus and Mutant Nightmare
**I wish they would allow me to download them from the PSN and I can store them onto my PS3 and I can ditch the disc and ISO version. For the PlayStation 3:
Resident Evil 4 HD, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X HD, Resident Evil Remake (Remaster), Resident Evil 0 Remaster, The Umbrella Chronicles, The Darkside Chronicles
Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled – No longer available
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare – Reflex EditionPC Games:
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Thief II The Metal Age
Tomb Raider Gold, Tomb Raider II Gold, Tomb Raider III Gold
**I wanted to play Resident Evil 1 for the PC, but it’s only for Windows 97, and 7 and XP are not compatible.Arcade games I like and want to buy for my future Man Cave:
Ninja Turtles 1989
Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time
Pit Fighter
Street Fighter II
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat II
Super Mario Bros the c~~~tail arcade version
The Simpsons – I’m not a fan of the show, but I love the arcade
Gauntlet
Ridge RacerPinball games, I really want for the Man Cave:
Whirlwind
Twister
Indiana Jones
Twilight Zone
Ninja Turtles
The Simpsons
Star Wars
The Addams Family
Funhouse
Theater Of Magic
White Water
Some baseball game where you get baseball cards for homerunsOther games:
Resident Evil RPG, and RPG Remake (Fan made)Geez, I didn’t realize I was into so many games until I typed them all out. I don’t play games the way I used to. I used to take gamming seriously back in the day, but I don’t know if it’s age now, but I kind of drifted away, but play video games in a blue moon. I like the soundtracks to those old games, though.
Right now I have no need to get a PS4, because all my Resident Evil games that are available on the PS4 are still with the PS3. Plus, I have all my PS1 games stored on it, and for that, I can ditch the discs and the ISO files, saving me storage space in my room and on my PC. So I figure, why should I waste my money on a PS4, when PS4 games are still good for the PS3, where I have my older PS games on it?
There’s some reason why I prefer old games over modern games. For one, modern games aren’t as fun and relaxing as the classics, despite the fancy graphics and soundtracks. Games now a days seem too stressful, fast, too much going on, and online games have some asshole on the other end being an asshole. Games just aren’t as good as they used to be. Back in the day, they were slower which made it more relaxing and enjoyable. But now games are too fast and have too much going on and that makes games more stressful and aggravating.

I started playing video games in the late 80’s with the NES.
I mostly play Sony Playstation games (PS4, PS3 and Vita) now but I do play some Nintendo (Wii U and 3DS) once in a while.
I’ve been really into visual novels lately. Mostly of the crime, horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres. I’m playing Steins;Gate right now and I’m anticipating Zero Time Dilemma.
I mostly play action/adventure and RPG games. The Witcher 3 is my most favorite from last year and the final expansion comes out this summer!
I like RPGs that need a lot of Brainwork. Currently wrapping things up on M&B Warband.
I played all the 1st person shooters but can’t play the high-end games as I don’t have high-end graphics card on my PC. It is my dream though to get a good gaming PC and try out all the new games.
Currently waiting for this one:
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
I mostly do old-school stuff. Childhood favourites from the nineties are still in my top five.
But in my defense, it’s not so much because I have trouble keeping up with the times. It’s more because I get motion sickness very easily, and most modern games always use a 3D “camera angle” in free-roaming environments. I can’t play those for too long because I always end up making myself sick from them. I once tried to play COD for a couple of hours and by running’s end was vomiting all over my bedroom floor.
So the old 2D stuff, with all of its shoddy graphics, still has a lot of appeal for me. Abe’s Exodus would probably be my all-time favourite.

I can identify with that. I get motion sickness too, which is why I have a hard time playing the PS3 Resident Evil games, and that makes me upset. I also can’t play the PS3 version of Call of Duty, the one I have. For some reason the Wii version was better for my eyes than the PS3. So yeah, add that to my list of reasons why I don’t care for modern games: I get sick off them after a while. Haf Life was the worst for me, because I got sick after just 5 minutes, because the game moves too fast. Like I said, the older games were at a slower pace, and they were relaxing and more enjoyable than modern games. Modern games have too much going on, too many controls, too much movement, online games have an asshole mindf~~~ing you on the other end, and they’re stressful and frustrating.
