Any MGTOWers here into video games?
I have been playing Dark Souls 2 like crazy these days and pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 as well.
After I had separated from my ex, I found myself with tons of free time to burn, even after work, and working on my dissertation, so I bought a ps4 and said: “f~~~ it, let’s have fun.” If you are into de Souls series or video games in general, please leave a comment. Would love to read what you guys have to say.
Anonymous7Dark souls is pretty hard, it makes me rage, props.
Bioshock 1/2, borderlands 1/2, Fallout 3/4, Outlast, Wolfenstein The New Order, all great games.
Ive played so much video games it doesn’t hold as much value to me anymore, lol took about 6 years though.
Videogames can get addicting. When I stopped playing a year ago I got depressed because I had nothing to do. Thats when I started my self improvement.
I play videogames a lot. I agree they can get addicting. Like everything when done too much it isn’t healthy.
I like all kind of games but my favorite are First Person Shooters and action RPGs. I used to play a lot of fighting games too but the new ones have kind of bummed me out with all those free to play stuff, on disk DLC and constant buff and nerfs changing the game all the time. Sure it’s better than way back when they couldn’t patch the games but now too much whining and they can break the game trying to please the crowd.
I am 21 so my earliest memories from videogames are from playing on PC with my father. I used to sit on his lap and play games like DOOM, Outlaws, Corridor 7, Wolfeinstein 3D and so on. I was the trigger and he walked and strafed. LOL good times.
Pity and contempt are siblings. You only feel pity for those you consider weak.
World of tanks.

I have a Ps3 I recently bought for $160 dollars and 39 games to go with it.
My favorite games to play on consoles are fighting games such as Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter.
I’ve also started playing the God Of War series on Spartan mode. It’s sort of a bitch at first because playing at that difficulty is rage quite worthy, but I love the challenge. I also love this series so far. It’s one of the best action games out there.
However, this is the last game system I’m gonna buy. Modern gaming sucks b~~~~. Every time I try to play online, you have to download a daily patch. And games these days console or not install as if you were playing on a PC. I hate that s~~~.
Old games were better in this regard because you could just pop in the game and play. You never needed to wait for s~~~ to download.
I have lots of favorite games (The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind will never be knocked off its all-time-favorite pedestal), but my current Top 3 of most played is Football Manager 2014, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Cities: Skylines 🙂

I game here and there, I have a gaming pc and an xbox one and it’s nice to burn some time here and there after work.

I used to play a lot when I was a kid but have drastically cut down on it and just play when bored. I only play Xbox 360 and some ps2 games. Maybe I’ll jump into a ps4 next year.
If it has tits or tires, you know you're going to have problems.
I’m in a no games phase right now. But when I do play, I’m still playing titles from over a decade ago. Notably Team Fortress 2. I have purchased several newer games that I either haven’t played or barely played. Fatherhood and work sap the life out of me.

DCS: MiG-21 – Even though the plane is a death trap
World Of Warships
Minecraft – Because some people I know insist on playing that and only that.

Wargaming games are especially bad for that. World of Warships in this case. People are always whining about the ships and how they’re too OP, or too UP. The game is frequently altered to met these conflicting demands.
I often want to play the game and find I have to spend an hour downloading a 1GB+ patch, sometimes more than one.
My advice is: If you do get the game, skip the grind and the premium time and buy the overpriced Tirpitz when it is on sale and just stick with that.

I was the trigger and he walked and strafed. LOL good times.Wolfenstein 3D was the first shooter I ever saw and that was at a friends house in the mid 1990’s. Several years later It was also the first warez I ever downloaded.
Outlaws can be had on GOG and it is a great game. It was funny I killed Two Feathers with a couple of punches. Hated the part about hunting for the keystones though.
I’m a gamer since 1998 basically when I was 4 years old and am still into it.
I loved the good old games when they were meant to be FUN, not a monetary exploit like they are today.
I hardly find any good modern games today. They all went into a goldmine full of DLCs and micro transactions, Pay2Win, Pay2play and s~~~ like that. It sucks.I like to play me some Call of Duty with Mountain Dew and Doritos on the side but none of the Advanced Warfare or Black Ops 3 with their jetpacks and s~~~. I have a powerful gaming computer.

But it is our ability to choose – whatever you think is true – that makes us human. There is no book or teacher to give you the answers, to show you the path. Choose your own way! Do not follow me, or anyone else."
Oh I tried blade and soul, got my forcemaster to 45 hm5. The pvp aspect of it was alright but lame, it’s basically just stun stun stun stun stun stun stun stun stun dead, if they hit you, you are stunned, you hit them, you are stunned, so… btw. I got my forcemaster to 1800, but if the other classes know what they are doing, they will always win, forcemaster is too squashy at lvl 45, pve was alright, but just I feel like I was wasting my time, so I quit. Back to building my own business instead.
Love video games. One of the only entertaining things I see nowadays. But I never do microtransactions and I extremely rarely buy DLC. I have a PS2, PS3, PS4 and a PC for retro gaming and new gaming.
Love The Witcher series, Metal Gear, Uncharted, Batman: Arkham, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor, Knights of the Old Republic, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and others. I lost my touch for Call of Duty after it got too repetitive. I don’t do MMORPGs, but I tried experimenting with ones like Mabinogi, Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World.
I also played Demon Souls and Dark Souls with my brother and am currently trying to finish Bloodborne.

mostly single player games, they can’t be destroyed as many have.I’m a gamer since 1998 basically when I was 4 years old and am still into it.

I love games that are meant to be fun, and challenging. That’s why I play de Souls series. I highly recommend it to you if you like games that reward intelligence, as well as substantial tactical and strategic decisions.
I have been playing games since 1994. And yes, I agree with you. I avoid 90% of modern games out there and stick with the 10 or 5 percent of them that are made to be fun, engaging, and overall a good investment of time and money!

Yeah man! Dark Souls is ridiculously hard, but it’s so rewarding as well. Once you start reaching certain levels or acquired certain tools/equipment the game becomes more manageable (still brutally hard, though) and that’s when the fun begins. The thing with the souls series is that you have to learn their design language. The enemies, the traps, the bosses… once you learn to read the game’s language you are ready to go.
Aside from Dark Souls, there are no other games I play at the moment. I usually play RPGs or games that I know will be worth my time and money… I am not a compulsive gamer in that regard.
Eve Online
Totally anything goes sandbox game. Thus there is much intrigue, betrayal and pew pew spaceships.
