Oh man, some good games here.

Seconding God Hand. It was pretty advanced for it’s day with things like the enemies only playing as dirty as you do and a huge movelist with no BS insane button mashing needed to use it (standard now, but back then not so much). I can picture how it would flow with glorious updated AI and even more insane moves. It could even have online co-op where you can team up or beat the crap out of each other over loot! Yes.

Adding M.U.L.E. This game has been remade to death since it first came out on the Commodore, but nobody has ever bothered really updating it. It’s the godfather of the colonization/space strategy genre and a real blast for multiplayer due to how balanced it is. Now, add in more realistic terrain, more events, more options, and online multiplayer to supplement the local multiplayer and this game could take the world by storm.

Not really so much as wanting a sequel, but I really wish I could get all the Blood Omen/Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver games in some sort of collection or remastered version. Fantastic story, and ah-frickin’-mazing voice acting.

But, insofar as a sequel goes, Kingdoms of Amalur. I know 38 Studios went under, but just the fact that Curt Schilling, R.A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane made a game together is reason enough to get a sequel. Plus, the first and only game was crazy good.

    Loved the original M.U.L.E.

I wanted something beyond Temple of Elemental Evil. They make a superb (if buggy) D&D simulator and only 1 module? For shame!

Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption (Bloodlines was fun too, but one in the style of Redemption would be nice)

advent rising… The plot was just so… AWESOME!

    And Nexus

Both games, around the same time, absolutely jaw dropping plots and graphics; Around the time of halo 1, and the graphics just owned.

    Midtown Madness 2.

There was a Midtown Madness 3 but it was only released for xbox and then the series got eclipsed by more revolutionary stuff like GTA III. It’s been 15 years and there’s never been another since.

    Microsoft Train Simulator.

There was something really good going there. There almost was a sequel a few years back but Microsoft closed the studio that made the software. This also ended the life of Flight Simulator as well.

I know it’ll never happen, but I would love to see a continuation to the Bioshock franchise. Infinite is one of my favorite games of all time, but Ken Levine pretty much killed off any sequels with the ending to Burial at Sea.

Hmm… Video games I would like to have a sequel for? Hmmm… It’s kind of hard for me to locate one, because all the games or series I play all have sequels or long running series. These are the game below I play, or had played, but not everyone, just the ones that came to mind:

Resident Evil (I liked the PS1-era Resident Evils, before RE4)
Tomb Raider (Part II with the Dagger of Xian was my favorite)
Mortal Kombat (Part II for the Genesis was my favorite)
Super Mario Bros. (I liked the third one for the NES)
Ninja Turtles (I liked part IV Turtles in Time for the SNES)
Thief (I liked Thief II The Metal Age for the PC)
The Legend Of Zelda (I liked the golden one for the NES)
Test Drive 5 (Love the soundtrack, especially KMFDM)
    Mega Man III (NES)
Sonic The Hedgehog (Part 3 hooked up to Knuckles – Genesis)
Street Fighter II (Genesis, SNES, Arcade were my favorite platforms)
Final Fantasy VII (PS1, I’ve only gone as far as the Carnival Area)

I think the only game I’ve played that doesn’t have a sequel, which I don’t care one way or another is Pit Fighter for the Genesis.

As you can see, all the games I played are all either sequels or long running series.

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (did not like EA’s games much)

I remember that game, a very good one, but the AI was brutally hard. Once they got the high tech stuff they mopped the floor with you. The game is now freeware and officially downloadable last I checked.

Duke nukem 3d (a real one)
And nam (vietnam game from late 90’s).

Duke3D never got a proper sequel. But it was a very good game, even today it’s still fun.

Nam ’67? That game had horrible ratings, should try Battlefield Vietnam that was a really good one, many, many hours of enjoyment online and offline.

I wish Valve would finish the Half Life-games with Half Life 3 and be done with it. Right now there’s no real ending with Half Life 2: Episode 2.
