What are some of the games that you felt deserved a sequel that never got one. Can only have had one game. Feel free to Correct me if I am wrong. Here are some of mine

    Red Dead Redemption

    Eternal Darkness

    Primal Rage

    L.A. Noire

    Beyond Good and Evil

    Alan Wake

    NBA JAM

Huh. Never play any of em. Of course I’ve been out of games for awhile. My last game I really got into was Descent3. Maybe Half Life.  I do like some of the wii games, but not obsessively.

Another Planescape game, probably one you not only don’t remember but never saw. More choices for a game on rails than any you’ve likely played. Dialogue based on your character’s attributes, had as many dialogue options in one conversation as 5 in Dragon Age or the Witcher.

Anyone played Jade Empire? I’m actually hopeful for a sequel after playing DA Inquisition. The old EA seems to be back.

Being a retro gaming aficionado (and having given up on modern gaming), I would have to go with the following:

    Shadow of Rome (PS2)

    Shadow of the Ninja (NES)

    Jewel Master (Genesis/Mega Drive)

    Illusion of Gaia (SNES)

    Evil Zone (PS1)

Skies of Arcadia is the one game I would love a sequel to or at least a HD remake although considering the mess Sega are in it won’t happen. Recently dug out my old Dreamcast and am slowly working my way back through the game and I absolutely love it – brings back great memories from my school days where I would spend hours on end playing it

Kingdoms of Alamar:Reckoning. While the story wasn’t anything too special it was fun and the game play and world were amazing. Sadly there will probably never be a sequel though since the studio went under. Although EA published it so maybe they can make a new game.

While it wouldn’t be a direct sequel I think a Heavy Rain 2 would be kind of cool. Beyond Two Souls wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have the same great feeling Heavy Rain.

I feel like another Catherine game but from the women’s point of view would be really interesting.

Another is Half Life 3. The more time that goes by the harder I feel it is going to have Half Life 3 be a real sequel.

Great games. I haven’t played Beyond Good and Evil or Red Dead but they look really cool. There actually was a second Alan Wake game, but it is more of a universe spin off.

    I don’t want a sequel, but I could use a remake of FF7.

    World of Warcraft 2?

This game might be getting a sequel, not sure if they are doing it yet or not, but The Last of US was a fantastic game. I normally play very competitive RTS games like starcraft, but I felt like I wanted to expand the type of games I played and gave it a try and I absolutely loved it. I never thought I would like a game that was so story driven based on my history of gaming, but I was wrong.

    Sequels Needed:

    Power Stone(Dreamcast)

Streets Of Rage(Mega Drive, Sega Genesis (USA))

    Fighting Force(PSX)

    Extreme Games(PSX)

    Brutal Football(Amiga)

    Lotus Turbo Challenge(Amiga)

This is just a good few that needs sequels.

I love my games and the devs these days are still s~~~ting out the same old s~~~… over and over and over with no replay value at all.

But these devs choose to create COD sequels Repackaged and sold at full price. (Sounds alot like Single mother re-selling herself to snag that beta male) lol

I am one of the few people who will admit to liking the COD series!

I don’t do online gaming at all – tried it and didn’t like it as all it is spawn, die, spawn, die, fire one bullet, die etc etc and it is boring but I usually enjoy the singleplayers. A 6-7 hour burst of film style action with big guns and explosions – everyone universally hates Ghosts but I loved the single player and have gone through it a couple of times which I haven’t done with a COD game since the Modern Warfare series

Will pick up BLOPS 2 later in the year as the franchise does what it says on the tin – big guns, explosions and set pieces

    Agreed on Eternal Darkness.
That is one of my top 3 favourite games.

Every now and again the sequel raises it’s head, we even got a Kickstarter campaign twice…but alas no.
Such an epic game. Plays so well to this day.
