I’ve been here a few months now and have noticed two strikingly unique things about this forum.
Observation 1.
Other forums I have been on, whether for MRAs or whatever, seem to have a lot of arguments / flame wars where the members are constantly sniping at each other. Conversations / topics regularly degenerate into bitching between two individuals who stubbornly stick to their own opinions, while everyone else stops reading and posting. However, on MGTOW.com, that doesn’t seem to happen. There seems to be way, way more respect for individual’s opinions and life choices here than on other forums.
For example, I’ve seen many posts from members along the lines of “Go your own way, brother…”, “Well played…”, “Do what you’ve got to do…”, “Excellent attitude…”, and none of the arbitrary / deeply personal insults I see elsewhere. Members are prepared to learn from each other, offer supportive advice and encouragement, and modify their opinions after reading the posts of others.
It seems this is a community founded on genuine mutual respect and support.
Observation 2.
All members identified as female are instantly bannedI wonder if these two observations are in any way related? 🙂
You say "love is a temple, love the higher law" ...You ask me to enter, but then you make me crawl. And I can't be holding on to what you got, when all you got is hurt
I have been here for a couple of months now and have noticed the same thing. The mutual respect and understanding is refreshing and uplifting.
Women's brains and vagina have one thing in common. There is nothing in there until a man puts something in there.
No women
no dramaNo women
no dramaSpot on, very simply put, Franky and well done.
So let’s keep it that way for as long as we possibly can, guys… … in the name of the exact peace that they should leave us in… .. and the exact same peace, that we can appreciate far better than they will ever be able to. Nuff said I guess.
I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC
This …. mgtow … if far far more important for mens health, wealth and future than any other thing or place out there.
We do laugh and poke fun. We call feminists and manginas out every single day.
But each and every one of us knows ….. deep down …. without consulting each other ….. that this is real serious s~~~ men are suffering.
This is literally life saving …. and where that happens you will find great respect and understanding.
Agreed
Individuality is respected here and is a common goal.
We don’t have a reason to tear each other down? No fighting for status or resources
Just Men being Men
@numbcruncher;
Your observations are spot on. It makes it a pleasure to visit this site. I think we all are too grown up to indulge in pointless e-drama with total strangers. It must be a positive side effect of deciding to Go Your Own Way.I would have never joined in the first place had it been any different.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

And for women to even *imagine* that they aren’t the focal point or panacea for our health, wealth and future? This is why their reactions to the site and members are instantly hostile. Well said!

Hey RoyDal, I agree, I never engaged anyone with negativity and hostility, unless it was one of our random invading t~~~s! I apply MGTOW forum principles in my real life, I don’t argue with the bulls~~~, I simply walk away… No e-drama, and no L-drama (L=life), I think our collective personalities are among the most stable on the planet! That’s why strangers come here and immediately acknowledge the serenity combined with the mutual sovereignty, and dignity of mutual respect (the fruition of a t~~~ free environment).
Lets thank feminism for the ticket to freedom few men ever get to experience.
Thank-you feminism!
For this, and this alone, I love you…..

I wonder if these two observations are in any way related?Well I guess I’ll be the one who find’s the fly in the soup. . , . . I don’t mind.
Be under no illusion that s~~~, sparks and insults do not fly around this forum. They do at times but not often.Reason being, that so many members have gone through so much s~~~, that ego, rarely if ever is the reason
for any s~~~ storms on the forum. Mostly it may be a drastic difference of opinion mixed in with a doze of red pill rage
that has a tendency to resurface from time to time.Reiterating the ego factor,. . . it is probably the single biggest difference between MGTOW.com forum and all other.
We all have it but we leave it outside with the rain coat’s and the umbrellas. As for females ? . . . . . ” has anyone invited any into out forum ?” . . . . no ?”
Good,. . . they can stay out with umbrellas and raincoats.Yea, I like the MGTOW forums! Tons of respect here, especially compared to other forums or forms of social media like Twitter, Facebook or YouTube. That’s why I come here every few hours or so.

NADALT. “Not All Discussions Are Like That”. In 19 months – out of some 10,000 topics – I closed one for that reason. One. ( only 5 in total for other reasons like trolling) . We get a healthy share of friction, but interestingly enough, when it really gets out of hand, guess what the topic is?
Yup…… religion.
That’s when they have at it and it’s gotten ugly to the point you describe.
I’m guessing there are 8-10 threads I never walked into for that reason. There is still plenty of “tough love” here and that’s a good thing – when a veteran steps in without sugar coating and delivering it straight.
What’s really unique here (and you guys won’t know this) is how men who join ASK if they can join. Even when they might be married or they aren’t sure. That’s truly remarkable. The % of humility is astonishing…… like with the number of introductions that start with “I apologize for my English” when it’s damn near perfect. That’s an exclusively male trait here. Guys opening with an apology.
The conduct and the self-admin-ing here is first class. Everyone told me we were nuts to have an open concept without a rigid 3-step approval process including mandatory intros, you all did a great job shattering that to bits.
No women
no dramaWhen a woman says “All my friends are guys. Less drama”., she’s definitely telling you something.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.The conduct and the self-admin-ing here is first class. Everyone told me we were nuts to have an open concept without a rigid 3-step approval process including mandatory intros
I appreciate all your work KeyMaster!
I got banned from the other “mgtow” (sic) forum cause I questioned their intelligence and didn’t kiss their asses enough even though I went through most of the hoops they demand new members to go through to be accepted there.
The fact that intros aren’t mandatory here and I can openly question other colleagues at this site is amazing to me! This is the best MGTOW forum out there and the others are just trying too hard, but end up being circlejerking exercises where you have to “fit” or be kicked out.
LOVING MGTOW.COM!

I’m glad you didn’t go with that. I hate trying to write the perfect intro.

That other place, or atleast one of the ones I’m pretty sure you’re referring to, had some serious, serious, problems. I’m glad this site is run by different people, with a fresh vision of MGTOW for a change.

It may surprise you to know (about +2 years before we opened here) I was kicked out of the old MGTOW forums – twice – without posting anything but an intro… which wasn’t even approved(!). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what I could have POSSIBLY typed wrong. It was very hurtful when I finally found MGTOW and to have the door slammed in my face like that. Twice. And banned from visiting! Without being given a single chance to post.
So I said “F~~~ it. Why “join”? We’ll just make our own…… without these bulls~~~ “rules”.”.
Et voilá.

Yeah lucky for me.
I must have done/replied to at least thirty or forty posts and joined the conversation and got into a argument slinging insults with
SideCar before I realized it may be a good idea to write an intro.tsk . . .Live and learn.
SideCar
Sidecar is a great example why this place is good, because he doesn’t f~~~ around or sugarcoat to spare anyone’s “feelings”. He’s got a solid grip on his MGTOW and for a new arrival, it can throw you against the wall, but his expression (style) is neutral with a slight smile….. and killer biceps. What takes me 2 or 3 paragraphs, he can say in 2 or 3 lines that sting better. He doesn’t break it down crush the red-pill and feed it with a spoon of honey. Dude graduated from MGTOW university with honors.

You have certainly come a long way since then which is good on you.
If I’m not terribly mistaken this very forum has vastly overtaken the other one in terms of popularity. And if I remember correctly back when I first signed up here, I didn’t initially make any proper introduction myself but instead joined right into what I had found was an interesting discussion about debunking women and their real intentions or somewhere along those lines. So I only wrote a proper introduction a few days or weeks later after that (cheeky me).
I could even prove that if I was able to access my very first post that I put out. Well, unfortunately I can’t for some weird reason but hey never mind that…

Well, given my own experience at the other place, it does not surprise me!
I do thank them though for banning you because that motivated you to create your own MGTOW website.
Thanks for sharing your story
I have seen arguments on here too, but it still seems to take place in the context of a general cohesiveness and overall respect.
I’ve no doubt that individual discussions occasionally get out of hand, but it does seem to be far less prevalent than in other forums.
The men coming here have made a fundamental choice to act as individuals.
As such, while their individual choices are inevitably going to differ from those of other members’, deep down I think we recognise something of ourselves in each other – that vital spark of individuality that refuses to be dictated to, but instead chooses to live life on its own terms, whatever the social cost in the wider world.
