TV SUCKS!!!!

Ah yes! Everybody Loves Raymond. Where every woman watches it, sees herself as the heroic Debra, leading her family despite the bumbling ineptitude of Raymond Everyman manginaing everything to s~~~. Fuuuuuuck how I absolutely despise that show. There’s an episode that I think pretty much sums up what marriage and relations~~~s are all about.

Raymond is supposed to be honored at a sports writers dinner and given an award for his writing. It is a big night for him and he is excited about being honored for his success. He tells Debra that he is tired of her always being late and he wants her to be ready to go on time because this is very important to him. He tells her he is leaving at 6:00 on the dot, with or without her. So of course, six o’clock rolls around and she is still f~~~ing around with her hair. So he leaves, like any man would. Well, the rest of the show was about much “trouble” Raymond was in and all the spineless weaseling he had to do to get back in her good graces. SHE f~~~s up, but HE’S the one “in trouble”.

And people lap that s~~~ up and laugh because it’s “funny because it’s so true”.

Shoot me.

Just started watching the original Hawaii-5-0; Awesome wish I had a nickle for every time MacGarrett called his secretary “love” or “hon”, or refers to some woman as “baby”. Very refreshing.
