Interesting how you omit the SALT (State and Local Taxes) deductions that now cover everyone up to $10,000 per person a year for all U.S. citizens, though this screws over a lot of democrat states. (Before SALT deductions only applied to a few democrat states and had no cap).

There are other positive changed in the tax law.

But, the changes do get canceled at 2025, still with all the democrat states in turmoil I am sure President Trump can work something out. Or, the nation will likely collapse by then.

The whole point of the plan is to help the top 1 percent ad the Trump Tax plan will raise your taxes if you are middle class or poorer and it was not about us to begin with. What part of Trump’s deregulation, tax cuts and increased deficit with a reduced benefit help us? and to those who state Trumps deregulation got rid of a bad regulation or 2 even the good ones are in the trash or about to be in the trash like food safety standards, the climate, Water etc.

Well the fed is increasing interest rates to the tune of .25 every now and then, we are approaching what many would call overheating of the economy.

Everyone who has debt or obligations to pay that have interest attached to them will get killed at the end of this business cycle, the banks will reposes whatever is left, 2019 is the start of a recession as many economists who are not seen regularly on MSM have stated.

Even though this one piece of news i posted is not enough to unseat the current president, this will only add to the turmoil we will see next year when everyone has to file their taxes (the big February surprise!).

I have a feeling that at this point No matter how much trump does it will do very little to appease the masses that voted for him, me included.

I live in a democrat state, and I must say, this change is f~~~ing awesome. There is nothing better than listening to someone bitch about not being able to write off the full amount of state and local taxes anymore, especially when they vote for tax and spend democrats, just for me to remind them that the reason they can afford an expensive house is because they have an above average income…are they complaining about people with an above average income paying their fair share? People on the lower end of the income spectrum simply aren’t paying enough state and local taxes to make it worth itemizing compared to just taking the standard deduction so these changes don’t effect them. If you make 40k-50k a year here and don’t own a house, there is no way you are paying more than 10k in SALT.

Its actually funny how many idiots I know here who I’ve heard bitch about the rich not paying their fair share who never stopped to consider they are top 10% income wise. Apparently though the libtards only think people making more than them are rich. If they make 50k a year tax brackets for those making 100k and up should be much higher. I’d disagree. I grossed about 6k more than I did last year and my federal income tax burden this year will be about 3,000 less than last year. Its just factually wrong saying he raised taxes on the middle class, and the cap on SALT deductions had much more impact on higher income people with bigger houses and more toys.

As far as the poor…do you realize the bottom tax bracket went from 15% to 12%? He literally lowered taxes for low earners as well. Now let’s talk about those low earners a bit.

Its impossible to give them a meaningful tax cut because they pay jack s~~~ in taxes to begin with. Almost half the country doesn’t pay any federal income taxes. We should institute a mandatory minimum tax on those f~~~ers just so we all have some skin in the game.

Income taxes aren’t the problem, its that capital gains taxes are so much lower. Uber rich don’t have much “income,” its all capital gains. Raising income taxes really just f~~~s the upper middle class. Its the doctors and the small business owners who make a few hundred thousand a year who get hammered…its not the billionaires.

The single worst thing about the Trump tax cuts is they weren’t accompanied by the Trump spending cuts.

I voted for Trump. I like Trump. I think Trump is doing a hell of a lot better job than any of the other candidates would have done. They won’t remove Trump from office, and if they did, I wouldn’t care, because it just means Pence steps up. Pence would pretty much just push the same agenda as Trump. Back to the original topic of divorce. What this SHOULD mean is that cupcake gets less money. If I pay $4k a month and the deduction saves me $1k in taxes, then the new alimony should be $3k, the after tax cost. But if cupcake was in the 15% bracket, she was paying $600 a month in taxes and netting $3,400. Now she’s only getting $3k, so she is $400 worse off, with the difference going to the government.

So, if your lawyer isn’t an idiot, he’s always been looking at the after tax cost to the husbank. You can’t squeeze blood from a turnip. Of course as we all know the flaw in my logic is that “family” court doesn’t give a s~~~ about the husbank. But in theory it should lower the gross amount paid by the husbank so he’s in the same net after tax position. You have to leave the guy enough money each month to keep him going to work.

But ask May 7 if he believes me. I doubt he does.

Obama didnt do one f~~~ing thing to lower gas prices. He enacted laws that restricted regular drilling techniques and put more land off limits for use.

Only way Obama could have would have been to open more areas for use – he didnt; or to sign a law decreasing the federal gas tax collected at the pump – he didn’t.

The oil companies themselves lowered prices by increasing supply via shale mining/drilling. Particularly in 2015-2016 when shale oiloutput was at peak.
