Trump creates a more open healthcare market and signed executive order to remove the financial/fiscal burden and enforcement of tax, fee, or penalties imposed on individuals and families (and other facets of healthcare).
The implementation approach taken by the Obama administration was essentially to try to increase subsidized enrollment heedless of any resulting costs or disruptions to either the public or private sectors. This executive order signals that the Trump administration’s first order of business for Obamacare will instead be to minimize those costs and disruptions.
It’s just tre-MEN-dous.

Anonymous43is this really real or have you been dabbling in the onion?
Dear God its true!
Nice. This is big enough to deserve its own category. SW.

Honest so far ??

Anonymous5Good riddance, obongo!
s this really real or have you been dabbling in the onion?
Nope it’s absolutely True.
Here is signing it on Friday.??
My second paragraph (at top) is directly from this:
Nice. This is big enough to deserve its own category. SW.
I’m inclined to agree with you! Baby steps. The man was in office for HOURS and already got something done. -1 off the to-do list.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.Cut that Red tape, looks like the first step to draining the swamp,no wonder Gov’t workers in DC are nervous, lol
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
He’s not wasting time. Good!
I hope O’Bama signed enough executive orders to strengthen the power of the White House so Trump can really clean the swamp!
Notice, it says: “…minimizing the impact pending repeal.”Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
Give 'em NOTHING, not even an answer!

Flush that turd out to sea!!!!!!
I received a threatening sounding letter from the IRS about possibly being penalized for 2017 for having no insurance. I tossed it in the trash. Now, if he would use his magic pen and let me purchase a catastrophic only policy like I could have done prior to Obamacare.

Too bad you tossed it! How fun would it be to print that top document out and mail it back to them circling paragraph #2.
Now you can get whatever healthcare you want – with zero obligation or imposed penalty.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got. That’s VP Pence smiling on the left. Let’s just say he is from a town I associate with. Class act. I hear a sound not unlike pulling the plug on the tub when it is time to remove the dirty water….
skip the cavernous vag and go your own way

Anonymous11I know, Key that would be so cool. Unfortunately, I covered it with used kitty litter.
I’m thinking about all the work I’m going to get as all of these enterprise accounting systems I handle roll back all of the Obamacare crap they put into them over the past few years. It’s a double win for me.
When I went down back in 2010, the first thing I did was try to purchase a catastrophic only policy. I learned I could not do it. It was one of the first provisions to kick in with the ACA. The ACA has been VERY disruptive to me.
If this holds, then essentially Obamacare is dead, with or without a repeal.
Without the fascist individual and corporate mandates forcing people into the laps of the insurance companies, those companies will not abide by the rest of the act. This isn’t an act of protest or rebellion on their part. They simply cannot afford to. It’s a choice between break the law and refuse to comply with Obamacare or go utterly insolvent.
Besides this being the first executive action President Trump did, on the first night in office. The democrats cannot try to get this thrown out in court because Obama gave executive action exemptions for big corporations, so these corporations would not be forced to pay a fine for not giving insurance to their workers.
Trump just gave an exemption for everyone.
Also, Trump has set the course that the U.S. is dumping TPP treaty.
+ 1 for Trump !
outstanding.
time to take care of business.
we needed a business man in the white house,
not another corrupt politician.
so far, so good! The Executive Order does not address the fact that millions of Americans that chose not to sign up for Obamacare are on the hook for the fines they are obligated to pay and are still being aggressively pursued by the IRS to pay them, with the same tools at the IRS’s disposal that they use to collect back tax debt. Like wage garnishment, bank account levies and liens on property.
Those fines incurred prior are not going away and the IRS still considers them, money owed.
Go President Trump! Please stay healthy.
If only this were retroactive and I could have the $2700 penalty I encurred in 2015 be expunged.

Well it does say “wave / defer / grant exemption from & delay the implementation of”. So have your accountant look into it.
