What I dont understand is why people dont put it to the test.
I never heard an atheist saying something like :”I did a considerable amount of research on my own and I still dont have any doubts about that there is no god”

Its by far the most important thing to be sure about if god exists or not. You are only scared that your whole indoctrinized belief fails and that you were wrong the whole time and have believed in a lie.
Its absolutely natural to believe everything you have learned from mommy or teachers from young age on. They even made everyone believe that the world is a ball while its actually pretty flat.

I definitely think it is important and that is why I spent a couple of years meditating on my decision to not believe in God. I grew up in a Christian home so for me, it took a while to come to that decision. To be clear, the god that I believe does not exist is the one described in the bible. If any of you are speaking of a god in a more general sense than that is a different story.

I’m agnostic. Given how much trouble society has with understanding one another as well as us as individuals, I don’t believe we could ever fully comprehend a god.

I find a lot of bible thumpers (or other religious extremists) use religion as a way of forcing their opinions on others. A good example is Christians versus MGTOW. They say that the bible (God’s word) says that we as men are to get married, save sex for our wife and to have kids. However, Jesus remained single and Paul the Apostle warns about the evil side of women and encourages men to be single if that’s their preference. Both sides of the fence are acceptable.

I don’t have to do any “research” to justify not caring about the existence of fairy tales like Santa Claus and “God”. It’s up to you to prove to me why I should waste my time “believing”! (Don’t bother, it is absolutely impossible at this point.)

And even if there is a “god”, isn’t it just as likely that “he” sends believers to hell and atheists to heaven instead of the other way around like you probably think? How’s that one for you.

Modern Atheism asserts that man does not have free will? What are you talking about? Man, you are really out there on a branch.
