KM is right. It’s a two way street. The work of John Gottman studied the traits of successful relationships. The positives outweigh the negatives in those positives by a factor of 5 to 1 i.e. for every argument the parties did 5 nice things for EACH OTHER. Not just the man doing it for the woman. Good luck finding a nawalt unicorn who can even grasp the concept it’s not all about her though. The only way that is going to happen is when entitlement princesses realise they can’t get any man. That doesn’t appear to have happened in Japan though with herbivore men, so I wouldn’t hold your breath on that happening.

Women still want a man to protect, provide and make her feel safe too. I hate that s~~~, so personally I’m never doing it. I don’t want to be some woman’s protector or provider. Especially in a toxic legal environment where she gets to steal all a man’s stuff on a whim. They will have to ‘woman’ up and outgrow their evolution (the same way men are) or get a cat.
