Every time I hear a bunch of Christians say that God is on the side of the ISIS terrorists it infuriates me. First of all there is no God so therefore he can’t be on their side. Second of all if I’m wrong and there is a God in this universe , then I doubt that he would side with a bunch of child molesting, cammel riding, illiterate, rapist, terrorist vermin. It is the Stupidest thing I have ever heard coming from people who claim to be so American. I’m probably more of an American than they are. I don’t know how to put up with all of the stupidity around me. Please make some suggestions.

I'm married to the game, but she broke her vows.

Do not argue religion or politics. Either stay silent or change the subject to a safer topic.

I was often advised to handle situations like yours this way. I ignored this advice many times; every time resulted in an unpleasant waste of everyone’s time.

Religion and politics are kept close to the part of the brain that houses survival and aggression. Sweet reason will never prevail. Reason is housed elsewhere and generally ignored.

ISIS and Daesh aren’t about religion, it’s about Evil’s dominance of International matters in a world at war, created by the West to furnish an endless supply of reasons why law-abiding citizens should accept to die without being allowed to fight back.
The members of ISIS, their chief “Prophet” and the whole f~~~ing “Islamic State” have nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with Oil and Money, Resources and political leverage.
The whore Media loves to throw in words like “Islamist, Extremists…” for the simple reason that it is the governments’ mouth-piece, a bullhorn for it’s agenda, the same govments that created Al Qaida and are now negotiating with Taliban.

ISIS is as Muslim as the Church of Scientology is a Church.
ISIS members are as Muslim as those pedophile priests are Christians.
Let’s call these demons by their appropriate name and cut out all the confusion, shan’t we?

ISIS is a Satanic Organisation. Period.
Members of ISIS are paid mercenaries. If they die in an operation ( They are not “terror” attacks and they are not Terrorists ) their family gets the dough.
And Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a hate-filled Djinn in Human form.
I don’t see any Muslims in that whole setup. Next time the West wants to create murderers and blame it on a religion, they might try a religion they understand, like Satanism for exemple.

Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
Give 'em NOTHING, not even an answer!

J.D.: No, no, ALLAH is on ISIS’s side. JESUS is on our side in the West! Personally, I’ve always wanted a ‘my God is almightier than your God(s)’ bumper sticker. Actually, wait a minute here. Whichever side God is on, why did he CREATE the other side? To test us? Or to create good ‘reality’ TV for the Deity?

Untamed: Satan? Well, it’s a matter of perspective. Iranian leader Ruhollah Khomeini used to call the U.S. and sometimes the UK the ‘Great Satan’; Christians used to call Jews Satanic; and now some of them call Islam satanic. So Satan is a good bogeyman to point attention away from yourself or your power group, as the source of problems or corruption.

The Church of Scientology is a Church for tax purposes; they worked hard for over a decade, blackmailing IRS employees and engaging in other nefarious activities to secure their hard-earned tax exempt status with the US Government alongside mainstream religions. And they do, after all, have faith in their Great Leader, L. Ron Tubbard as followers affectionately called him.

ISIS is not just all about temporal power; it has a real, ideological component. Attacks on the West cause counterattacks by drones, killing some of the leadership. Many followers believe strongly in the ideology. But ISIS is most certainly Islamic just as the Vatican is Catholic. But there are multiple sects of Islam and Judaism, just as there are multiple denominations in Christianity. ISIS actually has relatively low support in many Arab countries: http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/11/17/in-nations-with-significant-muslim-populations-much-disdain-for-isis/ and https://newrepublic.com/article/119857/polls-middle-east-about-islamic-state-have-surprising-results — but as the article states, even 5% of Saudis supporting ISIS means 500,000 adults support them. Indeed, the percentage of Muslims worldwide who approve of terrorism to achieve goals, is staggering.

You’re correct that government created the Al Qaeda threat; had we had a non-interventionist foreign policy and not engaged in foreign aid, we would not have been targeted. ‘Friends to all nations, entangling alliances with none’, as Jefferson said.

Well the dumbest thing I ever heard and it was just recent is how the liberals are linking terrorism, terrorist acts to global warming.

Stupidest Thing I Have Ever Heard:

Me (to the psychotic spoiled brat who later became my ex-wife): “Will you marry me?”

Second Stupidest Thing I Have Ever Heard:

Me (to the psychotic spoiled brat who later became my ex-of-seven-years, who was already a divorce attorney at this point): “We should move in together.”

Tell me about it Trump suggested banning Muslims and the media is demonizing him for it. I think we need to get them registered and ban any from entering the freaking country. I understand that not all Muslims are terrorists but far too many terrorists are Muslims.

You don’t buy yourself into religious freaks and their fairy tales.

Abandon them. They are not on your IQ level once they tell you s~~~ like that. Cope with it and find more interesting people if you prefer it that way.

I abandoned all stupid morons I could. And I suggest you to do the same.

But it is our ability to choose – whatever you think is true – that makes us human. There is no book or teacher to give you the answers, to show you the path. Choose your own way! Do not follow me, or anyone else."

    Well said, ‘nuf said.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. --Einstein

This is how I feel when people praise “god” for the miracle of his infinite healing ability rather than the surgeon who spent hours in the O.R. or the medicine created by man that results in their loved ones being cured of their illnesses. It is indeed infuriating. Going to agree with RoyDal on this one mate, switch gears or shut it down. You can’t hold an argument based on reason when FAITH is on the opposing side for FAITH justifies itself on belief without evidence as reason basks deservedly in acquirement of FACT.

Do not argue religion or politics. Either stay silent or change the subject to a safer topic.

Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.
