Most Catholics (and Christians in general, for that matter) are raised in an extremely gynocentric environment. I went to Catholic school, and I was regularly rounded up with all the other guys to hear speeches and lectures about how we must worship and respect all women blah blah blah.

To be clear, there’s nothing inherently gynocentric about Christianity. The Bible is very clear about the necessity of men having complete authority over women. But the SIMPle fact is that the overwhelming majority of Christians don’t actually believe in the Bible (assuming they’ve even bothered to read it).
