What annoys me the most when it comes to all women, from friends to family, they all feel that men must be selfless and miserable.

I disagree.

Considering that we, as men, do most of the work, and deal with most of the pain.

It bothers me that when a man wants to go out to get some food for himself, that a woman has the nerve to accuse you of being selfish, and then in an attempt to prove her point, to bring up past favors that are assumed to be thankless for.

I became a MGTOW because I couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t take it from the Mangina-type men that are in my family that support their accusations. I couldn’t deal with the daily shouting, screaming and holding any form of water over me as if I had to bow to them all the time.

I have the right to be single, selfish and happy. Not a slave, selfless and miserable.

mgtow is the path to freedom……A person is selfish only when he/she takes away from someone who is far less privileged. Women are more priveledged than men in western countries. They make up most of the votes.

In the old days, men wanted to treat women nice so that we can get the respect we earned. Now we don’t get that respect anymore no matter what we do, so why bother? Either way it’s a selfish act and nothing wrong with being selfish, men were selfish before by doing selfless things for women so that they can fulfill our selfish needs, now mgtows are doing selfish things to fulfill their own needs, as women are no longer needed. I say go for it.

That being said, I will always buy my fellow mgtows a drink if I happen to bump into one because they respect me for who I am.

I was thinking about this earlier today. When a woman marries a rich man, she is just being smart because now she has access to his resources. When a man wants to avoid marriage and access his own resources, he is selfish, not smart. That’s basically what is believed and promoted by female logic.

On top of that, if you go after a woman because of her looks, you’re not smart. You’re a shallow pig.

I was talking to some guys at work yesterday. The subject of marriage came up so I asked them how long they had been married…..one guy says 40 years this week and the other guy says about 30. I couldn’t help myself…..I said ” Just think….if you had committed murder when you were a young man you would have already served your sentence and been out on the street 10 or 15 years ago”. There was a stunned look and then loud laughter from both of them. They knew it was right 100%. These guys were making 100k plus per year and relative studs in the money making department but I bet each one of them had an old nag at home making all the decisions for them.

Not selfish, smart. BIG difference. I threw in the towel about 10 years with women ago and it’s been the best 10 yrs of my life. While all of my old friends are living the life of being a mangina catering to their every little frivolous need, I get to go home from work and play with my guitar for an hour to unwind, then make myself some dinner, maybe some play some Call of duty, maybe some porn surfing, maybe smoke a little green, then go to bed! The possibilities are endless! Wake up and repeat!

I agree 100%. Not sure why the word “selfish” has such a bad reputation. I live my life for me first & foremost – once i’m taken care of, then i might help others via volunteering or donating to charity or whatever.

Amen, someone said on this forum a while ago i cant remember when, that men take ownership of there happiness and that when they are alone there natural state is to be happy, where as women need someone else to manipulate and control because they have no control of there own emotions.
