I’m going to purchase this book when I can. I’ve been looking for a book that specifically goes into celibacy and transmutation.

Taoists refer to the sexual glands as the “stove.” A “stove” is where “fire,” or sexual energy, is generated. Without a stove, fire can not be generated or utilized properly. Then no one will be able to “cook anything”—support life. Many of the vital functions of the body depend on sexual energy. The terms stove and fire, ancient alchemical terms from the days when this information was kept very secret, describe a part of the process of rebirth.

Another ancient alchemical term is water. Water represents all the secretions from the kidneys, bladder, adrenals, lymphatic system, and sexual organs (hormones or sexual fluids). This term also represents the organs and glands from which these secretions are derived.

Taoist teachings state that one must be born of water and spirit; interestingly, Jesus said the same thing: “Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” Your sexual organs and your urinary organs are considered to be “sister organs” in Taoism. They are linked because both are related to the water element, both share similar openings and anatomical areas, and both have reciprocal effects upon each other—that is, both either strengthen or weaken each other in a never-ending cycle.

Detailed explanations of the above subject, constituting an enormous subject area in Taoism, will be given in the book:

Here is another book that discusses the topic from an ancient Western view:

From my own experience of celibacy The Manipulated Man is correct. I explored spiritual paths such as Taoism and Bramacharya for many years. It took me a while to do it but I became celibate for 3 years and my strength, stamina, mind focus, wellbeing and energy soared to a level I had never experienced before. It was kinda like my body was harder like a tree. Semen when not needlessly ejaculated nourishes and builds your brain tissues.

I had the Taoist book TMM refers to and another book I have is ‘Brain Gain’ by Danivir Goswami. In my experience ‘raw’ cows milk (if you can get it) is good for your brain the nervous system in all this – you can boil it up (gets rid of any bacteria) and drink before bed. Patueurised milk is not the same and difficult (at for me) to digest.

As described in my introduction post I fell of the wagon when I fell for woman. Sex over a period of months gradually drained me of my that vitality.

    QUESTION:
“……. Deer exersize with my breathing. How exactly? Im thinking clench while breathing in and relax while breathing out.”

    ANSWER:
    Correct.

I have learned to visualize energy being sucked into your “prostrate” area during the inhale.
And then energy going out on the exhale.

The “Deer Exercise” becomes automatic after doing it about a thousand times.

Here is a good YouTube video that mentions the squeezing of the PC muscles during the inhale (deer exercise):

Here is what to do while standing:

Here is something about the Iron Shirt type exercises that help for taking a punch:

I’ve done a no-fap experiment for 6 months. It did give me more energy. I did have a little drop in my everyday mood when I began though.

The starting phase is pretty hard for me. The first two weeks my dopamine goes down and my testosterone shoots up. Makes me a grumpy person.

Some general comments on foods (i find) helpful for celibacy:

I avoid onions and garlic as these stimulate sexual impulse. In addition, note that meat, eggs, tea, coffee, chocolate, and all other stimulants (e.g., cacao, maca) have a powerful influence directly upon the blood; the passions are aroused. Fatty foods such as those with fats and oils should be decreased.

Typically, I might have fruit smoothie in morning, mango lassi, porridge, seeds/chia. I eat raw foods, curries, rice, vegetables (spinach, broccoli etc), dahl, and chapatis. Boiled milk before bed aids sleep. I also find raw milk easier to digest. Do not overeat.

In the past I have followed brahmacharya principles for celibacy this is based on a vegetarian diet. I have also found Taoist and also Ayurvedic guidelines and herbs helpful for health and nutrition and good digestion.

None of us are exactly the same.. for each of us I believe it’s a matter of finding a balance of foods that works for each individual to maintain energy and vitality but not overstimulate.

In addition in my life I have found that my body can heal itself when given the right herbs and nutrition.
