With the long term prospects of the site in doubt, I have been reading old threads and this post really struck a cord in me.

Regardless of the fate of this site, MGTOW will live on.

I add my sincerest thanks to Keymaster for creating this amazing site for men. I have NO doubt had I not stumbled upon it, I would either be miserably married or going through my third divorce.

Key master did a great thing when he built this site. I am very grateful for the help it has given me. Also the companionship has been a benefit.

I have a lot less female input in my life than when I arrived here and honestly, if I could eliminate all of it, I would be a much happier man. This site has taught me to view women as resource black holes and that coupled by the unfair social and legal situation makes them to be avoided. I didn’t see it so clearly when I came here.

The biggest impact that this site had on me was finding out that I wasn’t alone. I started developing my MGTOW perspective and attitude over 25 years ago and before finding this place I felt like a real freak! I had never met anyone else who thought as I did. Thanks guys for making being MGTOW feel a little more ‘normal’…

Agreed. And that can be a difference maker. When I was going through first divorce-rape I was in a state of shock. Felt like everyone and thing had turned against me.

I felt isolated and that I was the only one going through something like this.

Finding this site gave me the feeling of not carrying around a huge burden alone and that I wasn’t this terrible man my ex was making me out to be.

For real. Certain incidents and issues surrounding women in my life would have been much more confusing, and damaging, were it not for gems of knowledge distributed here. I lurked for a long time, but I absorbed like a sponge. And did those gems of knowledge come in handy when I needed them! MGTOW is reaching more people than many folks think, and I’m here as proof.

Yeah here the individual dots of each man’s experience and misadventure with women get joined up and the big picture is so clear.

Did I know it all before I came? Maybe -at least I felt I learned few revelations anyway. However did I see it and understand it like a science -no. Every man knows things fall when he drops them, Scientists can tell you why. Its no revelation to learn about gravity but knowing about it is then a powerful tool to take back to the real world. With science I can calculate where a bullet will fall at any range if I only know the weight, the speed at muzzle and the ballistic coefficient. Without science I would be doing a ton of test firing and bringing my own errors into the calculation. The same is true of MGTOW as a “movement” or a “congregation”. Together we can make better sense of it and make better plans for our own futures from the experience of others.

Yes to all the above..well said.. this site really helped me after crazy times with an ex. I am grateful for the site and thank you to all here. There are thousands of posts on here with valuable lessons of truth and experiences. Regardless of whether or not new members can ever join with the no admin issue – all men need to do is browse the forums and read. If one wants to enlighten blue pill men about women and the current system you just have to message “read mgtow.com forums and introductions pages“. About 18 months ago I saved hundreds of mgtow.com threads/posts to my PC that I felt were notable (useful for myself and other men) in case the site ever goes down.

Either way the mgtow message is ALREADY out there but it would be a shame to see these forums get entirely lost if the site ever goes down – as in theory men could browse and learn from these forums for decades to come – there are thousands of posts.

Apologies if this has already been done or discussed I have not been here for a long time.. in case this site goes down it would useful to
– archive zip the entire forums (or the introductions at least) and make it available for download (wasnt this already done by a member?)
– as mentioned in another thread agree a backup online place to gather (or multiple backup places) if the site goes down so that members or lurkers know where to go.
– reupload the forums to the new location and any other mgtow content members have saved

PS Over the past few years I have been using clipgrab application to save hundreds of content from youtube of content I knew would likely be taken down due to their policies/agenda – and im so glad i did most of it is no longer available on youtube – in the past I have recommended doing this as much non PC or truth content gets taken down from youtube – some content creators have moved to bitchute. PPS mgtow is freedom hundreds of videos used to be available on archive.org but now there is less than 10 from i can see

I think best real-case scenario is he renews domain and continues to let site run on auto-pilot.

It’s a phenomenon, really. I almost wonder, if I were to ever start a forum of my own about whatever topic, might it be a worthwhile model to allow only X-number of people in and then just cut it off. Then, just let it run itself. What’s happening right now with this website is worth looking at as its own phenomenon.

Here is the Interesting part. Over the years a TON of websites went down. After the Dot.com Bomb, Tons of websites just went under. Even more went away that were based on GEO sites.

Even BLOGGER is starting to get some Cobwebs. Basically? Anyone who had their own site that ran their own faded into dust.

I can think back to MYSPACE. SO many good FOrums. And all gone one day. All of it.

WHat happens to others is simply, the person running it either gets sick or old. Check out MyDeadSpace. It was all the Myspace users that are long dead now. But even that site, most of the page links no longer work.

Its a shame what happened to all the cool places on the web. But that’s just how it goes.

However, this place may be one of the ONLY places that did not turn out to be a SPAM Bank. Or a Chiller site where folks just show up just to post Web ads or links for traffic.

The big thing here is that we know each other at least online. Some of us even met folks from here I.R.L.

Thing is, we are one of a kind. We were given this gift if you ask me. And Its the best that could have ever happened. And we are still indexed by other sites. People still come by for a look, and others still back up pages.

What we lost really is the “How Much Boost can STOCK take” crowd. (Any Car guys will get that) So we lost much of the New Blood. So they have to read if they want to know more.

The odd thing? Even though we have a few people that call this a SHILL site? Those folks still come here and grab site posts and Back up this site. See what we are up to, and etc.

Whatever happens in the future? One thing is for sure. I won’t be Bad Mouthing the man that made this place. I’m not some disrespectful Honkey. I guess it takes a person with vision to see just how important Kemasters contribution to the world has been. And will be for a LONG time.

LOL. One thing you are not is some “disrespectful Honkey” iMickey. Guys like you have been through too much and seen too much to be that way.

This site hit 50,000 members before being set adrift as a website going its own way. Keymaster may have moved on to other ventures (or whatever happened…not sure we’ll ever know). And it really sucked to see fellow (and some long time) members turn on each other and Keymaster. But even still, thousands of men were given shelter here and outlooks changed for the better. This may end up being Keymaster’s magnum opus.

I found this site and began lurking about a year before things went off the edge for me. I honestly believe if it weren’t for this site, the men here and their advice, I wouldn’t have survived the hell my life became and went through. My story is a bit off from most, as I escaped through no effort of my own, but this site has helped open and keep open my eyes.
