Nature doesn’t care about how many are “needed” to sustain the species. Every organism has the same basic instinct to reproduce and reproduction continues as long as the environment will support it. I have not heard that strategy before, but from what I know of women, it may have validity.

Some research has shown that strippers get more tips during the ovulation phase of their cycle. Women are more likely to cheat on you when they are ovulating. That is probably the time when you want to be the Alpha douche.

Also, the birth control f~~~s a little with their natural hormone levels and thus their behavior, so there is also that.
