The deterioration progress of civilization is now officially began as fashion industry tycoon, Amancio Ortega Gaona, became the world richest people in the world.

Fashion, which woman spend so much on it, make Zara (fashion and accessories retail) become the richest individual of the world with the net income about US$ 80 billion.

Zara active buyer is 90% woman, and imagine how many they spent for fashion with their (poor) husband money which he earn with sweat and blood make the net worth of Zara?

In my opinion, fashion is not make human better and progress, it is just a distraction for a time being, if we are talking about technology and philosophy, that is the one who make human mind better and progress.

Fashion appeals to women because having access to designer clothes, jewellery, make up etc all supposedly beautify her already entitled sense of appraisals and compliments.

Contrary to popular belief a woman cares more about what other women think/say about her instead of her desire to attract a man. Fashion is used as a symbolic language. A factor that determines what class a woman belongs to.

Much like us men put labels on what a man does for a living as an inherent part of his identity.

Fashion exploits the herd mentality women have.

I wouldn’t say it is detrimental to society anymore than seeing a drooling child with down syndrome. These are just maldevelopments that happen in our society. A 14 year old dressed like a Barbie is just as sad as a mentally retarded child on wheelchair.

Bringing it to MGTOW as long as it’s not my money or the child support money then she can waste however much she wants.

All I care is if its easier to take off in dark and easier to put back on before I am out of shower.

Diet Fads
Celebrity media
Trillions of dollars flushed down the drain by women in the desperate race to keep up on the latest fads and try to put off hitting the wall as long as possible.

That is i aware of.

Recently, there is a massive forest burning, burned by corporations on my country, Indonesia.
Guess what the government do? They tell that the company name that burned the forest will not unleashed to public.
Also, since 1965, it is legal to open a land (or forest) which inhibited by fauna and flora by burning it, and because of corruption in the system of our government, they let this be, and not founded until the massive forest burning in recent days.

Like those smoke in sumatra is not enough, before the government changed the law, the other company started to burn their land also, now there is massive forest burning at borneo and celebes island, which make now papua island also got smoked, haze everyday. (burning forest to open a land only cost 300.000 rupiahs per hectare, while cut down the trees and relocate the animals is cost 5.000.000 rupiahs per hectare)

I live in Java, near sumatra, there is several haze but its just like a mist, today the smoke is gone, but two days ago, i was wearing mask to prevent some respiratory disease.

Yes, it’s all about money tho, and they need to open a land so they can re-plant that with kelapa sawit (oil palm).
As i mentioned above, it only takes 300.000 rupiahs (22,5 US$) per hectare if you open that by burning the plants, and sadly, the fauna is all dead too (orang utans, deer, etc), and it takes 5.000.000 rupiahs (367,57 US$) per hectare if you want to do it by cutting down the trees and relocating the fauna.

And, its not a forests managent. They do it on purpose because it is cheaper, and the unbelievably stupid law allow burning forest to open land.

The forest is supposed to be a ‘protected zone’ but the governor of the province using some political tricks with the company and selling those ‘protected zone’.

Until now, many people died because of respiratory disease, and thousand of them got the respiratory disease due to high level of carbon monoxide from the forest burning.

@Claus, your government is not doing the will of the people, like many governments the people entrusted to do the will of the people, sell their soles to the devil. A prime example of this is the extinct soviet union, where the government ruled with an iron fist over the people, they now have the worlds most severe environmental disasters, everything from oil spewing pipelines, Aluminum production that spoiled the surrounding land, they own the most toxic of all toxic sites on earth, the dried up and emptied Arel Sea, to the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Not to mention all the people that died in it’s jaded past.
I see the same thing happening here in America, but on the other end of the scale, the over preservation of forest lands has rendered our national parks as enormous tinder boxes, with a hundred years or more dead vegetation piling up and adding fuel to the forest floor, when conditions ripen these forests burn uncontrollably without any chance of extinguishing the flames until the fire consumes everything in it’s path.
When the balance of power shifts to the very few, bodies start to pile up.
