I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine anything more painful than what you experienced.

Sometimes it helps to look beyond this life. If there is a heaven, a million years from now you won’t remember all of the suffering and trials you went through here. Hopefully, in the future we will be reconnected with all of our loved ones who went home before us.

I read your story and tears are literally streaming down my face. Words are foreign and fail to express emotions so strong on such topics. The still born aspect is truly beyond words. I cant imagine having to live through that experience.

The most significant tragedies I have experienced was losing both of my parents inside of two years in my mid 20s. Loss of a loved one, and blood, is horrific.

I decided to rule my emotions instead of allowing my emotions to ruin me,

I appluad this. Its no easy task. You mentioned the Bible and there is a proverb which states exactly what you said:

he who has no rule over his spirit, is like a city with broken walls

Anything of value can be taken from it, and anything alien/foreign can be placed in it. In the context of ones mind/spirit this has a very significant meaning. Im so glad you could overcome this. Many have fallen over much less.

Thanks for your kind words bro. It took along time to sort & work through it all, and yeah, it still hurts at times. Some days I don’t even think about it, and other days I sit and wonder what it would be like, if he were here. It would be my idea of Heaven or Paradise, to be with our loved ones and be happy. Wish you the best also and thank you again brother.

Deep regards & sincerest thanks on giving of yourself like that. I completely understand and know what you mean. I am truly sorry for the loss of both your parents and at such a youthful age you were, must have been a hellish ordeal to endure. Now you have tears streaming down my face. I know that must have been unreal.

Right on and thanks for that information…I have read in Proverbs, but somehow, never read that vs. Would probably have been extremely helpful to me in speeding up the process of coming to that realization, had I read it all those many years ago.

Had I not listened to Petra, I may have fallen as well. I certainly had to steel my mind and hope that I would overcome. I could not agree with you more. I strive to be mindful of what I “feed” myself with, if you will. Here is one song from their Beat The System album, that helped me at my lowest lows in my life…
