I have read that the Iron Age, with the “Earth Mother” worship.

Evidence lends that the “Earth Mother” worship societies were matriarchal societies. And it is possible these societies became so anti-male, that at the collapse of the Iron Age, and the thousand year dark age (this is during the time of Greek mythology), was caused by men that were pushed to far by women, and they rebelled.

The Greek Amazons (the real ones) could have been one of the last offshoots of such societies, until they passed into history, as well.

This would example that religions that were created after the collapse of the Iron Age, the dark age, and the rise of the bronze age, were in response to that matriarchal anti-male brutality. And this is why afterward, women were shunned from having any leadership roles in politics, and religion.

This is really interesting actually as my exwife would, and still does, say s~~~ like this. It’s like she’s trying to convince herself that what she says is true.
