Imagine yourself alone in a vast, dark forest. You can hear the sounds of others and see the marks they leave behind but you do not know where they are or what their intentions may be.
Imagine now that instead of being an individual, you are an entire culture and that the others are other cultures and the forest is Earth.
Consider the following:
1) The primary directive of life is to expand.
2) The forest’s ability to sustain life is limited.
Based on these principles, it is inevitable that you will encounter another in the forest. When this happens, what should you do?
Consider also these points:
A) The more different and disconnected two cultures are, the greater the chain of suspicion between them. You don’t know what they’re up to, they don’t know what you’re up to. You don’t know what they think about you, they don’t know what you think about them. You don’t know what they think about your intentions with regard to them, etc etc.
B) Technological advancement can occur rapidly through explosive growth. You may feel you are superior at the moment, but the potential for explosive development could change the balance of power in an instant.
What is the logical outcome of such a scenario?
IF conflict is inevitable
AND nobody’s intentions can be trusted
AND whoever has the upper hand may lose it at any moment
THEN the moment you encounter another culture you MUST act to annhilate it immediately before it has a chance to annhilate you. This is the logic of the Dark Forest. The forest is full of silent, deadly hunters and those who wish to survive will make their move against any other they encounter the very moment they feel they have advantage to do so. In this environment, a culture that denigrates nationalism, embraces multiculturalism and invites immigrants into its lands without question or control is like a camper who stumbles into that forest, builds a roaring fire and starts singing kumbaya.
As soon as a hunter identifies their position and has a firing solution, they will die.
We are that happy camper… making smores and basking in the warmth of our welcoming fire, oblivious to the idea that there are a hundred sights lined up on the back of our heads, just waiting for a clear shot.
Enjoy your sing and sleep well, my friends.
Plant more trees somewhere else?
A man shouldn't make his life's objective to be on the side of the majority, but to avoid finding himself in the ranks of the insane. (Marcus Aurelius)
Anonymous24THEN the moment you encounter another culture you MUST act to annhilate it immediately before it has a chance to annhilate you.
You fail to mention that this attitude is exactly what has caused the current refugee crisis you seem to lament against. The invasion and destruction of countries based on lies…
For those new to MGTOW I would like to point out that Doc has also argued in favor of the Federal Reserve and FIAT money EXAUSTIVELY.
I take what this member of MGTOW says with the same amount of respect I give any of what our pro-war, pro-establishment politicians have been pushing for years now…
I also feel that if I had to pick out one person on MGTOW that I thought was a paid shill, it would be Doc. He has started threads in which he has pretended to be getting gay married for benefits just to out people on the topic and later say he was just kidding. He has done the same with those who would speak out against Zionism as well. And I am sure I have missed more than half of his bulls~~~…
There is no “someplace else”. Every place humanity goes, there it shall be.
And if we ever do leave this Earth, then the forest will only change in scope, not in character. At least here we have nukes. Out there we’ll be fighting with the eqivalent of sticks and stones.
We are the bonobos of history… content to eat what falls in our mouths, f~~~ when we can, maybe get our dicks bitten off now and then but otherwise have a relatively easy go, completely oblivious that gorillas even exist at all, much less super-intelligent gorillas with automatic weapons and drone bombers.
If we don’t start fighting now, everything we do amounts to nothing more than waiting to die.
Anonymous24Bah, shut up already.
There is no “someplace else”.
Of course there is, the universe is infinite. We just haven’t figured out how to cross the ocean yet.

Lament, no. Warn. When they arrived on the borders of Europe, they should have been shot in the face just as surely as someone would be if they came to the door of my home expecting to just walk in and live off my hard work and savings.
For those new to MGTOW I would like to point out that Doc has also argued in favor of the Federal Reserve and FIAT money EXAUSTIVELY.
Thank you for the disingenuous misrepresentation of my position. I argued for the INEVITABILITY of faith-backed currency and the absurdity of the so-called “natural economy”.

Feel free to go pet the bunny… I’m sure you don’t even have a holy hand grenade, much less the skill and ability to use one if you did.
I also feel that if I had to pick out one person on MGTOW that I thought was a paid shill, it would be Doc.
Come to my home and discuss this with me face to face. PM me for my address, I’ll pay your airfare.

I will not waste my time on shills like you. F~~~ off already.
As I was saying, the universe is (practically) infinite (just like human stupidity). If we manage not to exterminate each other for a few more generations until we figure out space travel, we’ll be fine.

Jeez, a bit harsh!!
take a chill pill
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
Anonymous42That’s depressing!
Take out the ole husky 372XP, buzz down the forest and invite all the peaceful pastured animals and birds to live with you in harmony. That’s what I did! The ironic thing is I spent hours today sharpening all my spare chains, by by forest!
Anonymous3The solution is to bring some light to the darned forest.
Transparency and clarity solve the issue. And leave everybody else alone. Its a big universe, there is space for everyone.Bah, shut up already.
With respect, I decline.
Anonymous3And BTW, the problem are not “cultures” but the idiots that rule them.
An idiot ruled Syria and didn’t want to let go, and other idiots wanted him gone, so now many idiots are fighting to be the top idiot. Meanwhile the population is running away, and the neighbouring idiots don’t want them.
A big idiot has the idea of sending them to Europe, so that he can get money from the EU.
The EU idiots cannot deal with the situation due to the PC and SJ lunacy. And some EU idiots think its the solution to the population growth problem that is affecting the economy.
The idiots running the economy, instead of changing the paradigm insist on the same ideas, probably because they depend on them for being the idiots running the economy.I think you got the wrong example Doc. Think of the sea and several boats drifting in the dark night. Now put idiots at the bridge!
As I was saying, the universe is (practically) infinite (just like human stupidity). If we manage not to exterminate each other for a few more generations until we figure out space travel, we’ll be fine.
The logic doesn’t change just because the forest gets bigger. If and when we do make it to space, there will likely be 20 billion of us already and that number will expand to fill any quantity of space we manage to occupy. There will always be constraints on habitable area and resources and there will always be conflicts between disparate players.
Space travel will not resolve the problem of expansion of life and limitation of resources and will only exascerbate the problems of chain of suspicion and technological explosion. In other words, the larger the forest gets, the darker and more crowded and dangerous it will become.
You don’t have to believe me, just remember you heard it here first.
And BTW, the problem are not “cultures” but the idiots that rule them.
I could not possibly disagree more completely. This romantic notion that people are essentially good and peaceful yet somehow manage to allow themselves to be ruled by “idiotic” scheming evil-doers is childish, narcissistic blameshifting sociopathology.
You may choose to live with the women and manginas in this fantasy land where all of your problems are the fault of someone else but I choose to be an adult, see the world and my part in it for they are and take moral and ethical responsibilty for my choices and their outcomes.

I agree.
I actually see every one of us as a potential idiot, if given enough power.
However, it does not excuse the idiots in charge. It is their job to lead the boat safely.
If you have bus full of ladies and they have an accident, you cannot say “all of them are guilty”. The idiot driving is the guilty one!
And I find this notion that the people responsible are not accountable because they are only humans to be manipulative, abusive blameshifting sociopathology.
And I am glad that you chose to “take moral and ethical responsibilty for my choices and their outcomes.”
It is a very noble thing. Pity you don’t require the same nobility for the people that are supposed to be leading everyone. And that my friend is the issue of our days.
Anonymous24And that sums up Doc in a nutshell. Unable to place blame where needed, as I pointed out earlier in this thread…
He is either an idiot, or a shill, or both.
Oh, and he will be back for more, he is a 600 horsepower bulls~~~ machine. I have seen him drive members right off the site…

Thank you for the quote, I use it myself sometimes, but did not know it was from Mark Twain.
