The correct thing IS to care. It is better to feel sorrow for the many women who are being led down a false road creating damage for herself, her children and society as a whole.

It seems odd that after all these years, I remember a line from the 1968 movie Planet of the Apes, where the astronaut Colonel Taylor explained the main reason why he got away from Earth and he mentioned. Quote:

I think this is an important point.

Purpose.

Some, like the OP have the desire for a wife and Family.

But most married men feel over worked, wore out, their spirits crushed. Taken for granted, and dream of being ALLOWED to have their hobbys.

Are hobbies enough in life?

Is the freedom to pursue them enough?

Eckhart Tolle in Power of Now has excellent solution for dealing with hate:

1. Accept the hate. Accept that it is there.

2. Observe it non-judgmentally

3. It will then dissipate on its own

A perfect analogy he uses is clouds in sky – hate is the clouds and we are the sky. We just observe them, we don’t judge them and they pass through and eventually sky is blue. But we don’t want to judge the hate because that would cause clouds to stop moving in sky and hang around longer than necessary
