How much freewill do you really think you have?

    That’s getting into philosophical/religious question.

We are no different from a machine at all. We’re infinitely more complex in “design” but the physics are the same.

On this I can somewhat agree. And since that complexity is so much farther beyond what we can do with a robot today, I think the point still stands whether you believe in freewill or not.

Anyway, I agree that humans need touch. However, I think a robot can suffice, up to a point. The care that a child needs would be extraordinary hard to imitate well enough. (speaking about a “mom robot”) That would be like difficulty setting 10 to accomplish. Yet to build a passable sex-doll is like difficulty level 1. HAHAHA. To build a walking talking sex-robot capable of stimulating a male emotionally, sexually … that is like difficulty level 5. She just needs to be able to recite wikipedia and do a reverse cowgirl and we’re in business. (and she must be capable of cooking, laundry and dishes).

In those terms, I would say we are at a about level .05 as far replacing humans then. I mean this in terms of their emotional capabilities, not physical. Robots can complete physcial repetitive tasks fairly well these days, and have been doing so for quite some time.

    Ok. Then do it.

Youre right… we’re nowhere near adequately portraying a human via robotics. Not even close emotionally or physically.

Engineers face insurmountable obstacles, not just with achieving robotic opposable thumbs and walking on two limbs, which are near impossible to replicate also more practical problems like a power source. They’re going to want to use batteries and it aint gonna work very well because of the weight (too heavy) and because of the cost.

The next problem is navigation and optical acquisition. The damn robot cant think or see! LOL. Don’t expect to see model David or Walter anytime soon.

Humans will always be the most affordable labor and frankly better than robots. And everytime they make a robot that stands there and welds a keyboard together or installs a car door… well, the robots sometimes f~~~ s~~~ up or go haywire and guess who comes to fix that s~~~.

All the morons preaching about Universal Basic Income (UBI) and robots replacing jobs are f~~~ing idiots. Tesla will also be going bankrupt VERY soon. WATCH. Batteries are NOT a viable power source when it comes to anything larger than a laptop…

just as with the horse and carriage .. compared to the “totally-man-made” automobile .. there will be no thought of going back .. at least, not without a smile and a laugh.
…. and it’s just on the horizon.

………and just as with the horse & carriage compared to the automobile, the manmade version will smell a lot better. Just love that new bot smell.

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.
